monday and CSI

This is this week's color combo challenge over at CSI. My granddaughter, Madison - can't claim credit for the photo - taken by J H Photography but I can for her - delivered her myself (in the front yard)!
LOVE these challenged - never thought I would pull this one out but once I got started it came together. I'm finding that I'm doing much better at digging into old stash and finding gems! This page has some old Heidi Swapp Rub ons I know I've probably had ten years - some AC flowers that I had to dust off the bottle they were so old and then found the grey tape from PP that I had almost forgot I had - now I also spent a good half hour looking for some grey narrow lace that I could swear I saw last week - but never found it. The journaling cards I just got in from an order from Archiever's from Prima - am so happy with them. The title I was struggling with to use the "one word" from Fancy Friday since I couldn't figure out how to incorporate anything else into the testimony part of the challenge - it was literally on the back side of one of the pieces of MME that I had cut off for something else on the page. This is probably the first page in years I have done using all PP - excluding photo backing and a little here and there I hardly used and cardstock- my norm is to grab Core'dinations and move from there but the colors just made be grab some MME.
Journaling about how much Madison has grown from a shy quiet little girl who would rather like in lala "Madi World" into a confident, charming young lady.
Evidence: Flowers, scallops, something transparent (there are a couple of clear buttons under the colored ones) metal (brads)
Testimony: One Word title
Thanks so much for looking and thanks Debbi for the challenge!
