Sunday cards

Happy Sunday! Here's a couple of cards I did today just because. First for the Get Sketchy card this week. I pulled out one of my Noel Mignon kits to work on this because I remembered these Hambly screen prints.
This next card is done for two challenges - first the sketch at CPS this week and then also for the Stamptacular Sunday challenge to use stars and stripes on your card. The paper is Crate Paper over the White Wash/Jenni Bowlin collection, and then uses a stamp from Unity Stamp Company and the little chipboard piece is from Cosmo Cricket
The next card is for the sketch at The Sweet Stop - where I will start as a new Design Team member next week. This is one of the images from their shop that I hadn't worked with yet so wanted to play. Papers are Scenic Route which I'm quickly running out of - one of my favorite paper lines and they had to leave!!!

Last of all is my card for the Delightful Inspirations image this week. I used some Scenic Route on this. Thanks for stopping by - want to try for the CPS card so may add another post in a little!

Sunday cards

Ok Sunday again - back to work tomorrow - ugh! But today was productive probably because I'm here all by myself. Don't know why the day just seems longer and I get so much more done when no one's here but I do. Today I have ALOT of cards to share for ALOT of challenges. First off is the sketch at Get Sketchy - the minute I saw this I know exactly what I was going to do - pull out my Core'dinations of course - here's some Core'dinations Core as well as some White Wash. I scored my lines with a Score Pal, sanded them, and then added the sentiment and brads.

The next card is for Sketch Saturday. For this card I used some Basic Grey papers and the digital image from Delightful Inspirations for this week.

The next card is for the sketch at The Sweet Stop this week but the colors also work for the sketch at Color Combo's Galore.
For the papers I used some Pink Paisley and American Crafts. The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms.

The next card is for the sketch at Delightful Sketches. It also works for the challenge at Stamptacular Sunday to create a baby card using a bug on it. Well this is my only bug digi. The papers are American Crafts.

The last card for today (that I'm showing because the rest are Design Team cards) is the one for the sketch at CPS. for this I used some My Mind's Eye and Core'dinations cardstock. I embossed and sanded the background.

Thanks so much for stopping by - your sweet comments make my day!

Gina K Challenge

Gina K is having a challenge using some of the Gina K stamps - here's my card using Nina Bracketts wonderful stamps. And to share one of my favorite childhood memories I would have to go back to about 4th grade. We had just moved down here from Iowa and I was the new girl in the last month of school. I met this girl named Becky and we became instant friends. Her mother made the most wonderful hot sauce and I can remember I don't know now many times I would grab a bag of chips and walk over to her house so we could sit and eat hot sauce fresh off the stove. We keep this tradition alive throughout out entire high school years.!

CPS and Thursday!

Here it is Thursday already - so many sketches I want to do and just not enough time! BUT on a good note SYTYCD started up with the final 11 and the dances were simply amazing! I just love seeing choreographers that Brandy has takes classes with up there teaching these amazing dances for the program and then watching these awesome dancers grow week after week under them. Brandy's dream - hope she gets a chance to do it one of these days! Here's a card I did for the CPS sketch this week. I've been busy working on Core'dination projects in preparation for CHA - can't believe it's that time AGAIN!

Saturday Cards!

Yeah it's the weekend again! Yesterday was UNREAL!!!!! I got to work at 5:30 and never stopped running! I looked at the list of patients that had been admitted to our already HUGE list and passes on going to the management meeting deciding I better round with my team. It took two hours just to round on all our patients, the docs had clinic after that. My phone never stopped ringing all day long. It was just one of those crazy days that we get being a trauma hospital that just seem to NEVER end. There is always light at the end of the tunnel though and the day ended! Just hope it filters out over the weekend (hahaha like that will happen!) But on to brighter things and the weekend.
First of all I have my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. I used a stamp I just got from Paperworks and some Jillibean papers for this sketch.
Next I have my card for Card Patterns. Gina K has the most awesome designers making stamps for her and we are so excited to get to use them for cards this week.
