Sunday and CSI

Posting twice in one day!!! Wowsers.  Spent the day painting the garage - my dh had painted it years ago a DARK green but only about half way up and it definitely needed a facelift before we put it on the market.  So this weekend I have finished up my son's room - ready for new carpet next week and gotten the garage half done. (have to do one side - move everything - then do the other). BUT I did get time to do this week's CSI challenge

CSI - Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday - I'm just now learning how to do this new blogger so bear with me.  Can't seem to get the journaling part at the top yet but I'm sure I'll figure it out.  Here's my take on the Case File #38 - didn't get to get it posted until yesterday because I was in CE classes ALL week long.  My brain is fried and my butt is sore.  Critical Care nurses DO NOT SIT STILL well!   But it's over and done.  Yesterday I did the trim in Jason's old room and refinished the antique dresser he had been using and now it once again looks like a nice piece of furniture.  Took alot of sanding and tongue oil but it's restored once again.  Today I'm off to paint the garage.  Next week we will be getting new wood flooring in the living room and Jason's old room recarpeted.  Trying to get this place ready to put on the market.  It seems like this house has grown to twice it's size now that I'm doing all this and all the kids are gone. 
Ok well off for a run before I get started and then hopefully will find some time to get some cards done and work on this week's CSI Case File.  I love these challenges!

Happy Saturday - I have to work today but then I'm in classes the rest of the week. I've been busy this week painting my son's old room again and getting it ready for some new carpet. We also took a little trip to Rockport so I could try out my new kayak and just to make one last trip before it's too cool to enjoy. Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches and a new reveal from Core'dinations.
Used some Authentique on this one.

We are all so excited - should be getting our boxes this week and then let the creating begin!

Saturday and CSI and OUAS

Playing along at CSI again this week - and again they have combined with OUAS - love these challenges and today they are in some of my favorite colors - bright colors!! These are my two grandchildren, Madison and Mitchell (who I think I only put one l on the page - lol!) They are only 18 months apart and the "middle children" but are great friends as well.
Lots of stash in here - who would have thought I would have used these old western label stickers but worked great here. Also lots of stamping on this one - started with a sheet of white cardstock. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Saturday and Unscripted Sketches

Well another week has flown by - some disappointments - the house we found in Grandbury got another contract before we could put one on it and my son (my baby) moves out today to his first apartment with his best friend. Not really ready for the empty nest - Charlie and I are definitely going to be rambling around in this big house by ourselves. I've never not had kids in my house since I was 21 - this is really going to be a change.
Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches - we did this week as a card to encourage kids so I found this cute stamp and made this one. It's one of the Whipper Snapper Stamps that are so cute!






Then I wanted to share some Core'dination's goodness with you. First off is a page I created using Jillibean Soup papers as well as the Core'dination's Jillibean Soup collection. This is my youngest daughter, Brandy, who I can so seldom know catch to let me take pictures of!

Next are a couple of cards I made using the Glitter Silk collection - ribbons are from May Arts!
Then this last card is using the Gemstones collection - these made such pretty cards especially when you emboss them - these are the only collections from Core'dinations that you don't sand but emboss away - it gives them so much texture!Thanks for stopping by!

CSI and an Announcement!

Happy Wednesday! We now that my month of being a Special Investigator for CSI is over I have to wait for the reveal. So I didn't get to do this page over the weekend as we were in Granbury looking for houses. Found the absolute perfect home on the water - came home to speak to our banker if we could swing both houses for awhile until this one sold and found out they got a contract on it the day after we left - UGH! House had been on the market for awhile but of course the day we look at it it sells. Makes me SOOO sick! Well here's my take on the Case File this week which has now combined with OUAS to add a sketch challenge. These are my grandkids (Kim's) whose names all have the same initials MM - so they are our M & Ms. The picture is a couple of years old but I love it. Cardstock is Core'dination's and the papers are My Mind's Eye and Webster's.
