Saturday posting
Happy Saturday - been a long week! Went back to work Wednesday - was in the locker room putting away my things when I hear - hey where are you????? My night buddy had been in charge that night and was there to let me know she had put me in charge for the day shift - welcome back - three weeks off and HELLO WORK! Luckily it was a busy but not bad day. Then came in yesterday and was float. Never sat down the entire day -was busy. Next week I'm on for three days but none of them together? UGH! I'm hoping to get the chance to get some scrapping done this weekend but my son and his girlfriend want us to do something with them and they are always my priority!
Well today I have a card for you for Unscripted Sketches - guess I was still thinking Valentine's with the hearts!
Then for CSI this week I have a page that goes with both the Page Draft's (Emma's) sketch as well as the Case File. This one spoke to me about animals (probably the picture) so I did a page about our little Sophie who my hubby lovingly calls Little Dog because she trails around behind him like a dog. This is a little stray Brandy found outside her apartment and after almost $1,000 worth of vet bills including surgery to cut of her nec fas tail. Then her roomie found out she was allergic to cats so Sophie came to live here. She is too funny. Even after all this time (she was horrible about it to start with) she beg to go outside (any weather) - get out there and stand up looking in the window for someone to open it up again. Back and forth - winter's the worst because the idiot can't seem to figure out it's not going to warm up and will try again and again. She follows Charlie around everywhere - to the mail box to pick up the paper. God help he goes out and forgets to take her or vice versa.

Page Maps and Gossamer Blue
I created this page for the challenge by Page Maps together with Gossamer Blue. Since I'm a member of Gossamer Blue and they had sold out of most of the February add-ons for this kit I wanted to play along with the sketch challenge - course I'm always a fan of sketches.

Saturday
Well my staycation is winding down to an end. Didn't get to really go anywhere - it's too cold. We went to Arlington for a funeral the first weekend and visited some old friends but besides that we have been here. Replaced all the faucets and towel rods in our bathroom. Now to get new lighting fixtures and try to figure out how to paint over the gold trim in the shower. Gold is out per realtors so trying to do what we can to eliminate it. BUT I have had alot of time to scrap and I have. Got all my DT work done for Core'dination's and the David Tutera card team and got a little (a little) ahead on my CSI projects (like a week ahead - lol) Wish I could share but no. Also got rolling on using up a Noel Mignon and a Gossamer Blue kit left overs. I wanted to do a post of all the projects I did before the end of the year for Core'dinations and DT for CHA but not sure if I really remember which ones they were. The catalog will be coming out soon so maybe that will jog my memory. Today first I have my card for Unscripted Sketches.
Next up is my page for the CSI case file this week. I immediately thought of these pictures of Gavin and the stories Brandy has told me about how much this kid loves his books already. His Mom is a beautiful nerd who is finishing up medical school right now. Think Gavin got a gene or two from Mom here. The cardstock is of course Core'dinations. It was perfect for this page.
Then like I said I was using up scraps from two kits so not sure which figured into which kit but mixed them up. First is a page about my son and his girlfriend's trip to the Mexico /Korea Soccer game. Maria is a HUGE fan. This was one of our Christmas presents to them.
Next up Brandy (she's the second one on the right in the top middle picture) went to a friend's Bachelorette party in Austin last weekend where they took alot of fun pictures. I did this for them to remember how much fun they had.
Then baby Gavin is now one and I was using up alot of the goodies in the Gossamer December kit here on this one.
Then I can share some of the pages I have made recently for Core'dinations. These were from my last month's work - some winter pages. The first is my grandkids playing in the snow on a snow day from school. Jenni Bowlin line was the major one here.
Then my great nephew, Cason, playing in the snow out in Lubbock. First year he was old enough to play and understand it.

Super Bowl Weekend!!!
Slow on posting this weekend. Went to Arlington last week for a funeral - a friend of my husbands. Don't you hate when you get older and you realize that funerals turn into reunions - friends you haven't seen for years. We didn't see many but enough to enjoy visiting. Plus got to spend time with Charlies kids and grandkids. But now I have some work to share. First off is two pages for CSI - the first is for the #108 Case File and the second is for the December Scrap 365 Case File
As you can read one of the Journaling prompts for this page is to look in this Art Journal Prompts where I found this prompt. I immediately thought of my youngest daughter, Brandy. Could she afford herself or find a way to make enough money doing it to suit herself she would dance - and dance and dance. I loved this picture I took of her several years ago at a Monster's Dance workshop. I caught her in leap here and noted when I turned the page to black and white - she's on curled up toes??? How I don't know.
Next up is the Scrap 365 Case File - loved these dramatic colors and the testimony led me to my photo which is a beautiful wedding photo of Brandy's bff from last summer. I used some Core'dination's cardstock here for my base and alot of stamping.
Thanks for stopping by! Off to do some more scrapping.

Then I've got all kinds of scraps left over from both a Noel Mignon kit as well as a Gossamer Blue kit so decided to work through some photos of this little cutie.

Wow Saturday already!
Sorry I've been away but my computer got some virus called iexplore and it like to killed it. My SIL is a computer wiz but after two day we had to say uncle and I had to get someone here (he's in Georgia so was all long distance) who could lay eyes on it and fix it. Mucho $$$ later I'm up and at it again. SO today we had ice. I was supposed to work and it's a little different from most jobs where if you are late or the weather's just too bad life goes on. NOT where I work. In a trauma ICU someone has to be there - you don't show up night shift doesn't get to go home. Nothing changes holidays, ice, nothing. But I did heads up them yesterday so when I got up and saw only ice this morning had to call and say I would try when I could see. So 8:30 I set out - get down the road to our subdivision (guess you can call it that even though we live on 3-5 acre lots) and made it almost to the highway before I said nope, turned around and headed back. I was sliding all over. As I was headed back here were all these cars going out so I said - you are being a baby at least get to the highway. So turned around again - got less than a mile down the road and a big wreck with cops was up ahead. Cop said there were more down the road so I turned around and came home. Called in and by then they had the beds covered. BUT tomorrow I'm in charge so have to try - hoping without more rain the roads will at least be dry - cold I can live with - icy roads for 40 miles and lots of bridges no.
WELL here's some cards and layouts for you today. Going to get together all the things I did for CHA and hopefully post them soon.
First up Unscripted Sketches:
Next up is my page for the CSI Case File this week. My daughter, Brandy - loved this picture and loved the colors!
And some pages I did with the January Gossamer Blue kit
Thanks for stopping by - hoping to have a crafty couple of weeks as I'm on vacation as of 7 pm tomorrow for two LONG wonderful weeks!

Saturday and Unscripted and CSI
Just rolling this morning. The allergy count says there's nothing in the air yet my eyes are weeping and itching and look like road maps. UGH. Sure the make up won't be staying on there today and I have white eyelashes so no makeup is really scary! Today I have a card and a layout. Haven't had a huge run of mojo lately but channeled out some cards for Core'dination's David Tutera line. Did get another happy mail for another page for the ST Baby album they are putting out in May so yeah!! Little Gavin is going to be a hit in that magazine! Showing the house again this afternoon - keeping my finger's crossed this is the one.
Here's my card for Unscripted Sketches this week.

And here's my layout for the Case File up at CSI this week. This is my son and his girlfriend who are just too cute together. Their love for each other is just heartwarming.

Happy New Year!!!!!
Hope you all had a fun and safe New Year. I worked both New Year's Eve and New Year's day so needless to say I was busy - and in charge. All my kiddos went home except Jason so house seems really quite. We had around 16 there for a few days and then my daughter from Georgia and her family stayed for an entire week. Loved having them! Have quite a few things to share today but will start off with my card this week from Unscripted Sketches.
Next up is my layout for the Case File over at CSI this week - please stop in and see all the inspirational pages this amazing Design Team has done.
Used some Core'dination's Impressions for my background paper - love the texture it gives a page. The baby is one of my sweet great nieces.
Next I have some pages I did with my Gossamer Blue kit. Love Lori's kits! I have already gotten four out of it and still have paper left after these!!! First page is my son and his girlfirend, Maria, at the horse races.
Next up is a picture I took of the girls and our waiter on our cruise last spring.
Then this page I did of a picture of my two girls and my hubby's oldest son last summer at our annual July Birthday party. Love how our families have blended over the years to form one huge happy group!
Then up on the Core'dination's blog this week I had these two winter pages featured. Gotta love my Core'dination's!
Then my grandson posted these precious photos of his family from Christmas with our great-granddaughter!
