Scrap Around the World

Well I finally took the plunge and decided to do a layout for SATW!  I haven't before - been too intimidated by all the talented people who scrap their inspirational photos but decided to take the plunge! Here's the inspirational mood board.
 And here's my take on it - mostly pulled the colors from all the pink as inspiration together with the flowers. This is my gorgeous granddaughter, Madison, and is taken from her graduation pictures. And I've added chipboard from the Creative Embellishments chipboard who I'm now designing for.  Several pieces here.  The Flourish from the Flourish 15 set, the Cherish from the Moments Word Set, the butterfly from the Flourish Butterfly set 2, the the chain from the Chain border

    and I'm so glad you took the step forward to enter our challenge! Don't be intimated by others' work - we all have different creative ways of expressing ourselves and each and every one is beautiful in their own way!

    OMGoodness, it's gorgeous, Debbie! Stunning photo of your granddaughter, and stunning layout to match! I love all the pink, and your layered shabby vintage design is fantastic. LOVE those borders! The layering of chipboard and paper and trim is amazing. ADORE the feather boa trim at the edge, too!
