Saturday and Unscripted Sketches

I know I'm late putting this up today but have a really good excuse! Took my baby girl, Brandy, down to Corpus Friday and just got home. She's starting Graduate School at Corpus A & M and we went down to get her settled in her new apartment. Had an expensive little run to Target to fill in the gaps but she's all set! She has three roommates - we only met one and weren't impressed - are hoping the others are an improvement but she has a good friend who's down there going to school with her for the same degree so they should be good AND who can be bad with the beach less than a 1/2 mile away - I'm SOOOOOOO jealous. Told her I'ld come stay with her - wash her clothes, etc if I could just be that close to the beach. Will NEVER be able to talk my dh into moving down there. Then this morning at orientation she won the big prize - $500 towards her tuition - how lucky was that!! OH and to top it off I broke a tooth so have a fang macerating my tongue - hoping I can get in quick to get it fixed.

Her's my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. Smooches stamps.

Thanks for stopping by - back to work tomorrow.

  2. What a darling card! I am glad to hear she is happy and getting settled. I used to live near the beach a good bit of my life. My father was in the Navy so we were always by the beach somewhere. :)
