Here's my card for the sketch over at Random Acts of Creativity this week. I pulled out some Basic Grey for this one and a stamp I haven't used in awhile from Elizabeth Bell. I used a SRM sticker for my sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by. Stop in tomorrow for the new challenge from For Your Inspiration.

Sunday Cards
It's been awhile since I've had a day I could just make some cards from the sketches I like - usually I'm just trying to get ahead with my DT work. Brandy left yesterday to go back to LA - she was thrilled that it was 50 degrees when she got off the plane. Obviously we have different thermometers because I LOVE the heat!
Well here's for some cards. The first one is for the CPS sketch this week. Used some of the New Jenni Bowlin 6 X 6 packs of papers I got in the mail from Core'dinations this week - couldn't wait to play! The image is from Sweet and Sassy I believe. Oops now that I have it up here missed those three little dots in the sketch. But I like it as is. The sentiment is a Smooches stamp which I just can't get enough of.
The next card is for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week. For this I used a Mo Digital image and some Jillibean Soup papers and again same Smooches stamp. (Need some birthday cards soon - we have HUGE family!)
The next card is for the sketch over at Taylored Expressions this week. I pulled out some papers I bought the other week from My Little Yellow Bicycle. They were just what I needed.
Then the last card I have today or the last card I have to share today is for Card Patterns. I love this sketch and decided to try a white on white card. This is REALLY hard for me - one because I'm a huge color nut and second it's a challenge to finish it without getting it dirty. The stamp is from Unity. The cardstock Core'dinations.

Saturday
Sorry I'm late - Brandy left today to go back to LA - snif snif! We took her and her friend to lunch and then my husband took her to the airport - really hate it that she's ready to go back now. Keep hoping she will be ready to come home closer to family again but not thinking it's going to happen anytime soon.
First off I have my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. Used some Core'dinations papers together with some papers from a Noel Mignon kit.
Then I did this card for the challenge image over at Designed to Delight - the yellow flowers are the freebie this week. Combined them with some older images for this card. All papers are from a Noel Mignon kit - cardstock is from Core'dinations. Then I did this page for the Color Combo over at Color Combo Galore this week. Used some of the Core'dination's Jillibean line for this one and the adorable subjects are Kim's twins, Matthew and Makenna.

Tuesday posting
Well today is my oldest daughter, Kim Moreno's birthday! My two younger girls (14 years apart though) are Thursday -yes May is a VERY popular month for birthday's in our family. My sister's SIL is the same day as Kristi and Brandy too.
Today Brandy and I went to the outlet mall to find her a couple of things for her birthday and then had lunch together. Fun day for her! Love getting to spend more time with her.
Today I wanted to show the page I did for Color Combo Galore this week. This is the color scheme and here's my page. I used some Black Magic for the background, used a score it tool to frame in pink, then used a piece of White Wash with the pink backing - embossed it and sanded to show the core. Used some Prima flowers, a Pebbles chipboard and some American Crafts letter stickers. Of course the adorable subject is my beautiful granddaughter, Madison, who will be 14 in just a short time. EEEKs need to make her a card!!!
Then for this weeks sketch over at CPS I used some Core'dinations cardstock - embossed it and used it with some Stella Rose papers and a Smooches stamp and sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by - hope to do a couple more this week but will see how time permits.

Saturday Morning
Well posting this early and hoping it comes up on time. We are down on the beach now. Brandy came home on Thursday and will be here for week so are spending the weekend at Corpus with her and her friends and my son and a couple of his friends. Not but sleep I'm sure but fun non the less. BUT I have alot to show today.
First of all is my card for Unscripted Sketches. I have to say this card stumped me and I almost passed but then the light bulb came on and I come up with this. VERY loose interpretation but I love how it came out. The stamp is by Unity and the cardstock is Core'dinations. Papers from Echo Park. The sketch came with another challenge to use metal. My little hat as a metal brad on top.
Then this week we are showing off the new line of Teresa Collins Core'dinations papers - are these not fabulous! There's a pink (for girls) and a blue( for boys). Was thrilled to see about three of the layouts the design team (including me!) did for this show were picked up immediately for publication so you will have to wait to see the other one I did. This first one is my little great-niece, Hailey on her "princess" birthday this year.
The next one is my little great-nephew, Brayden, such a trooper and such a cutie. This happy smiling face has in 4 short years been through three open heart procedures and other numerous lesser procedures and is still smart, happy and a total joy!
Then I have a card I made as well. Love pink and black together! Please check over at the Core'dinations blog for more inspiration from our Design Team.
Then I also have a couple of cards to share with you that I created for Designed to Delight with Faith's adorable images. The first is Garden Kayla and the second Skater Boy.Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful weekend..

For your Inpiration
Brandy comes home tomorrow!!!!!! Yeah! Can't wait - haven't seen my baby girl since December and after being joined at the hip for 20 years it's a long time apart! We are leaving Friday morning for a few days at the beach. Of course this involved taking her and two girls and my son and two friends so full house!
Please come join us over at For Your Inspiration for the semi-monthly challenge. This photo is awesome inspiration for color lovers like me. I immediately thought of rainbows although it seems that most of the other design team members thought of balloons. Please welcome some new members to our Design Team - their inspiration is awesome! And when I thought of rainbows I also thought of this cute Unity stamp I have with the little girl in the raincoat. The papers of course are all Core'dinations - I embossed the background and cut the rainbow. Sentiment is on an October Afternoon tag.
Thanks for stopping by. Stop by tomorrow to catch some of the pages I've done with the new Tersa Collins Core'dinations papers or check out the blog for inspiration from all the Design team.

Sunday Cards
It's been awhile since I got to just play with sketches but took time this weekend to do it. Had a wonderful leisurely birthday lunch with my hubby on Friday, Saturday went to the company picnic and today I painted the baseboards, trim and doors in my bathroom - it's DONE! Moving on to the next item on the list. Getting this place ready to put on the market.
But today I have cards to share - all papers are from Noel Mignon kits except Core'dinations Cardstock. The first card is for the CPS sketch this week and I used a new stamp I just got. Going to have to get back with you on who made it. I'm blank.
The next card is for the sketch over at Sweet Sunday. I saw this image on a card this weekend and had to have it - it's from Wee Stamps.
I made many more but all for DT 's and not ready to share quite yet. Thanks for stopping by!

Saturday Morning!
Hope everyone had a great week. Took yesterday off for my birthday - all the kids called which was great and my hubby and I went out for a late lunch. Good think I've never been really superstitious about Friday the 13th!
First off I have my card for this week for Unscripted Sketches. I used some Core'dinations cardstock and some papers from lily bee designs. The stamp is from Paper Smooches and the background stamp is from Unity.
Next is my page this week for the color combo at Color Combo Galore. Worked perfectly with these adorable pictures of my granddaughter's, Makenna (youngest) and Madison. The entire page is done in Core'dinations papers - white wash collection and core. I used a white wash page for the background and then scored it and sanded it to create a frame. Then I used some of the tourquise white wash and embossed and sanded it for the sheets behind the pictures. Then I punched and layered the purple cardstock and sanded it a little too. The stamps along the bottom of the page are all Unity.
Thanks for stopping by! Your sweet words mean alot!

Unscripted Sketches and a BIG ANNOUNCMENT!
Wow this week was a LONG one. I have been stressing out for about 6 weeks now waiting for the announcement of the Core'dinations new Design Team. I have been with this wonderful team for two years now and love Core'dination's papers more every day. I have found so many wonderful ways to use this paper and to improve my scrapping with them. They announced this morning and I will continue on with this for another year! YEAH!!!! To see all the new team please check out over at Core'dinations blog!
So in light of that I think it's only appropriate that my card this week reflects some Core'dinations papers!
I used some of the White Wash collection on this - embossed it with a Tim Holtz folder and then sanded it. Then used some Core - punched my waves and layered them using Helmar adhesive and then lightly sanded those. The adorable stamps are from Kim Hughes.
Then as I told you last week we had a visit to my oldest daughter's the other weeked and here's a few more pictures of some of my adorable grandkids. This is the twin to Makenna who I showed you last week - Matthew.
We were lucky enough to get to be there when Jesse was home - he's military and is still stationed in Arizonia and travels on almost continuous TDYs. This is from the top - Madison, Morgan and Jesse.
Then one more shot of my adorable granddaughter, Madison.
Thanks for stopping by this morning!

Sunday Sharing
Fabulous weekend!!! Charlie and I drove up to my daughter, Kim's for the weekend. He had a dental appointment in Arlington and so Kim and I spent the day driving all over Lake Leon looking at houses and property. Charlie and I are planning to move up there eventually so wanted to see what's available. Found sound FABULOUS homes that were way more than we want to spend but were awesome to drool over. Spent out evenings playing 42 and got to see little Makenna play softball ( 8-9 year old girls) - oh man fun and they are really good! Then we got to see Mitchell play baseball on Saturday - they lost but he did awesome of course! Then we got to be there for the twin 's 9th birthday. We had cake and ice cream Saturday night! Overall a fabulous weekend. Got to jog and walk around their property and the countryside every day.
This week I have my card from Unscripted Sketches for you. I used some Core'dinations cardstock, a Martha Stewart punch, a Smooches stamp and some pp from a Noel kit.
Then here are a couple of cards I did this week for Designed 2 Delight. First one of Faith's newest fairy images using some My Mind's Eye papers and this also happened to be Makennas birthday card. Then the second with one of Faith's recent images which I just happen to totally love - makes a great guy card! Used some Daisy Bucket for this one.
Then Kim shared some pictures she's recently taken of the kids - I have two CDs full of fabulous pictures that I just can't wait to scrap. These are my granddaughters, Makenna and Madison.
Thanks for stopping by!
