Late posting this weekend. Spent most of yesterday painting my bathroom - my nightmare! First it took almost a month to strip the wallpaper off (not made for stripping!). Then it had to be textured - after the first roll or two it felt like lifting concrete. Then I painted it and we HATED the color. Then Saturday we went and my dh thought we should match the tile (maroon and cream!) NOT. It was pink - yuck. Pulled out the light cream I had used on the ceiling and we had a winner. BUT the color card on the table that I thought was it wasn't we he bought a can not useable and of course not returnable. FINALLY got the right can and now after two coats it's done. Now all I have to do is the trim which is not easy since I have 6 inch baseboards and two doors that are all carved and paneled. FUN! Another day. BUT I had today off and I made use of it. Haven't had much time to play with all the card sketches recently so today I decided to see what I could come up with.
First is a card for The Sweet Stop. The image is from Lily of the Valley - the paper, Core'dinations cardstock and Graphic 45. Flowers prima. Sticker - SRM stickers.
The next card is for Card Patterns. I used some papers from my latest Noel kit for this one and again a SRM sticker, Core'dinations Cardstock.
The next card is for the sketch over at CPS this week. This is one of the Mo digital images I hadn't played with yet - love her! The papers are Echo Park and the sentiment is from Creative Imaginations.
The next card is for the sketch over at Get Sketchy this week. For this I used some of the fabulous new Graphic 45 Core'dinations cardstock together with some Graphic 45 papers. Sentiment is a Making Memories rub on.
The next card is for the Sketch Saturday sketch. For this one I used another new Mo digital image I had and some Basic Grey papers.
Finally here's a page I did for the color challenge over at Color Combo Galore this week. This is my son, Jason, taken on a day we spent together with my oldest daughter and her kids at the lake. Cardstock Core'dinations, chipboard and rubons Maya Road. Pattern Papers from a Noel Mignon kit.
Thanks for stopping by -off to try to get to some more this week.
