Another Saturday

Another Saturday - at least there's sun! I'm so glad we haven't gotten blasted by all this snow that's covered most of the other states - guess we are a little too far south. Here's my card this week with Unscripted Sketches. Used some of my new Core'dintions papers - aren't they just yum!
The next two cards are for the sketches over at My Sketch World. The first is done with some American Crafts Papers and some Doodlebug Rubons.
This second card is done with some Making Memories paper and ribbon and a Martha Stewart card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Friday - at LAST!

Here's my card for the Mojo Monday sketch this week. Looking at the Mr. Linky entries I can't believe how many participate in their sketch. And I'm always late because I work Monday nights and can't get to the card until Tues or Wed . By then they have well over 100 entries. I love to look at everyone's but that's a lot of blogs to check out! For this I used my Core'dinations Cardstock and a little MM tag. I have been dying to make a peach card so I did.

The next two cards I did for My Sketch World. They are having a month-long Sketch-A-Thon. The first one here is with My Mind's Eye papers. The second one is with my treasured Scenic Route. Oh man do I hate to see them leave us.! More tomorrow - off to check out sketches! Thanks for looking!

Cards to share

Here's my take for the CPS sketch this week. I used some Basic Grey papers (still working hard on my stash - seems bottomless!). Cleaning out to get ready for all the new releases!

Here's the card I did with the image from Delightful Inspirations this week. Used some of the new Core'dinations cardstock with the Jillibean papers. Jillibean has joined with Core'dinations to create some of the most fantastic cardstock ever!

Last of all here is a page I did for IAAS with some of the GCD papers we got in our kit. These are our grandson's (ends) and my daughter, Brandy, and son, Jason.

Happy Saturday - lots to share today!

Happy Saturday - love it when I get a Friday off to play at all the different sketch sites. First of all want to show the DT cards for this week. The first one is from Unscripted Sketches. Used some more of the yummy new Core'dinations papers - they have joined up with Jillibean and Cosmo Cricket to create two fabulous new lines. This card used the Cosmo Cricket Core together with some Jillibean papers.

Next card is for Card Patterns this week. The little images are from Integrity. Aren't they cute! The papers are from Pebbles. Michelle here bringing you this week our 50th sketch which is being sponsored by Inktegrity Stamp owned by wonderful Joni Wilson.

Hello fellow crafters! My name is Joni Wilson and I am the owner of Inktegrity. As a mother of 6, I wanted to create images that every age could enjoy working with. This past summer I debuted my line of digital images and have enjoyed every minute of it.
I am inspired by personal experiences, suggestions from friends, and the everyday goodness in life. Please visit our blog at Inktegrity.blogspot.com for wonderful ideas and inspiration.
I am so happy to sponsor this fun site, thank you to this wonderful team for letting me be a part of Card Patterns!

Just for you lovely Card Patterns' participants, Jodi will be giving away....

The next sketch is from Sketch and Stash blog. Decided to go with the Love theme as it was also the theme at Delightful Sketches. Papers are by Bo Bunny.

Next card is for the sketch at Get Sketchy this week. Here again playing with some of the new papers from Core'dinations - yum! The image is from The Stamping Boutique.
Lastly I did another card using the sketch at 365 Cards Day 337 Used some old Pebbles here and an adorable little Audrey Image from The Paperworks Company.
As always thanks for stopping by - your comments make my day!

Thursday Mojo Monday Sketch

Ok hope you are dry - it's poured here for days!!! So sick of wet, cold rain. Well went to a seminar today - LOL I really didn't read - the price was right, my friend was going and I needed the CEUs for license renewal this year so yeah - I'm going. I thought it was about brain INJURY but it was about brain moods, hormones, etc. Well it actually was good (good speaker) until we got to the part about depression and psych disorders - definitely not my cup of tea. Now I'm off for a LONG weekend - yeah! So guess what I'm going to do with a cold, wet weekend - yep - scrap. I have a big stack of yummy new Core'dinations papers that are screaming to be played with. And of course some card sketches that have been calling my name. Here's my card for the Mojo Monday card sketch this week.

Papers are by American Crafts.

Then this card I did for the February Sketch-A-Thon over at My Sketch World. Some Bo Bunny here - papers I decided to finally use - in my effort to use up some of my stash before I'm tempted with all the new goodies.

Thanks for stopping by - hopefully will have more tomorrow or Saturday.

Sunday cards

Well first of all I wanted to show off the new collections put out by Jillibean and Cosmo Cricket together with Core'dinations. These are absolutely the yummiest papers I've ever had the chance to play with - if you scroll down to an earlier post you will see one I did with a piece of the Jillibean line. I have another one to show in a week or two for the Unscripted Sketches blog.

The first card I have is for CPS blog sketch. I saw this idea on a card (by Ryann Salamon) in the last ST to put little brads along a ridge and decided it was a perfect idea for this sketch and for core'dinations papers. Now I used an entire sheet of cardstock trying to work on white without getting it dirty - I kept pricking my finger with the brads and getting blood on it - grrrr! But finally here's a clean version!

Next I did this for the S2G challenge that used both a sketch and a challenge to use chocolate on your card - can be brown papers, etc. Here's what I came up with. I think the papers are Making Memories together with Core'dinations cardstock. The stamp Paper Salon and Cornish Hens.
The last card here is for Get Sketchy blog sketch challenge this week. For this I used some of my prized Scenic Route - so sad there's not going to be any more Scenic Route - one of my all time favorite paper lines!. Stamp is from the Michael's dollar bin. Thanks for stopping by! I'm actually going to try to get a layout done now! OH and I have someone coming out to fix my computer so my router and my wishblade work - oh happy day!

Happy Saturday!

Wow long week! Not really sure why but it was. Work wasn't overwhelming - peo ple seemed to be staying out of the hospital or at least not quite as many clamoring to get in so was a little slower this week. Managed to get some study time in - determined to take my CCRN (Certified Critical Care RN) this year. I keep putting it off year after year telling myself it doesn't make me a better nurse but need something now to climb the old corporate ladder so am going to do it. I HATE to study again - my brain just doesn't like it but am amazed at all I have absorbed over the years and really can guess my way through alot of it I think.
This week over at Unscripted Sketches I created this card for Sketch #40. I used some My Mind's Eye for this and a stamp by Stampabilities.

Then for my card this week over at Card Patterns I used some more of my stash (endless stash may I say) of My Mind's Eye - decided I was in a purple mood. Actually as much as most people hate purple I love it and am drawn to it. The stamp is Cornish Hens.

A couple of cards I did last week for different sites I haven't played at much before. The first is from Delightful Inspiration a site I found last weekend and am loving. Core'dinations all the way here together with my Cuttlebug folder.

The next is a sketch from Mojo Monday. For this I used some Basic Grey and a stamp from Elizabeth Bell. Isn't she sweet!
I'll have more later when I play with some more sketches. I also want to do another card or page with my new goodies from Core'dinations. Talk about some yummy papers - they have gone together with Jillibean Soup and Crate Paper to create some Core'dinations papers that are nothing less than fabulous. I created a card the other day (on an earlier blog) and I literally could just play and play and play with these new papers.

thanks for stopping by! Check later I'll have more
