Happy Saturday and Unscripted Sketches AND CSI

Happy Saturday! YEAH off today and tomorrow and planning on going kayaking in the morning with friends. Can't wait.
Today I have my card for the sketch at Unscripted Sketches. Used some Smooches stamps for this one on some Core'dination's cardstock.




Then this is my last week as Guest Investigator for CSI and can't say how much fun I've had. This is this week's Case File and I had done the first page a few weeks ago but received the Coordinates this week and had to solve the case again using them. Core'dination's cardstock for these both. The first one I found a bunch of the embellishments and fringe in my stash so felt good using up the old stuff. The first is my daughter playing frizbee on the beach with some friends and the second one is a trip we made in 2011 when Brandy came home from LA for a weekend. Took her and her bff, Liz, to the beach and they had a ball frolicking in the water while I took pictures.

Couldn't resist solving this case yet again. I'm Guest Investigator for the remainder of this month and had already done this case but had time on my hands and decided to solve it again. This is a picture we took last week in Rockport sitting outside in the morning having coffee while the sun came up.

Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge

Today's challenge over at Cornish Heritage Farms is to create a card using circles. I have used the dots background stamp together with a digital image and sentiment all from the Cornish Heritage Farm's store. Sorry my post is up a little late - I worked the last two days and got home late.

Happy Saturday - just got back from a trip to Rockport with my hubby - it was wonderful!!! Love the beach. Spent two afternoon sitting in the sun with a great breeze to keep down the heat - ran two different mornings - this morning over at Key Allegra (just down from where we stayed) which is always a fabulous run because you are either running next to the bay or by homes in the 1 M range - fabulous things to see. I'm always amazed at how much easier it is to run when I'm down at the coast running on the beach or out there at Key Allegra - so much to see! How the rich live - AND as it always amazes me these are their second homes - they don't live there year long. No who has that kind of money? I told dh when (see my confidence!) we win the lottery I want a home down there!
Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches sketch this week. Used some Authentique on this one.







Then as another of my month long Guest Designer pages I did this one for CSI. Here's the Case challenge. You need to check out the blog - unbelievable inspiration from the Design Team! This is my grandson, Morgan, with his girlfriend, Bonnie (the Sr.) at the senior prom. His first prom as well. Photo was taken by my daughter's friend, TJ Photography, who does an excellent job - had to scrap this one!

Designed 2 Delight - August 20th Reveal

Happy Saturday and Unscripted Sketches AND CSI

Happy Saturday - on my way up to Eastland to visit my daughter and grandkids today. Then back to work on Monday for a couple of days. I know I'm in the minority but I'm HATING to see the end of summer. I'm not ready to give up the heat and the shorts and all that goes with summer. Today I have my card for the Unscripted Sketches sketch this week. I totally forgot this was the week for a piggyback challenge so if you'd like to play along you can OR you can submit your card with just the sketch challenge as I did. For my card I used some Authentique papers - love this line!





Then continuing this month I'm a Special Investigator for the CSI challenge blog. This is week has a fabulous challenge and colors. MORE beachy things for me. This is my son taken the last time we went to the coast for him and his buddy to do some fishing. Was just a gorgeous morning and we were walking out to the pier to check on a shark he had caught the night before.
