Unscripted Sketches, CSI and a little more!

Happy Saturday - for a change I have the entire weekend off and not just Saturday.  Today we are celebrating my mother's 86th birthday with dinner for around 20 (just maybe half of her family of kids, grandkids and g-grandkids) at the restaurant of her choice - Salf Lick.  NONE of us like it but she just thinks it's awesome so there we go!  Then most of the crowd is coming back here for another party to celebrate Jesse's birthday - he's my oldest daughter's husband and is turning 50!  BUT my group doesn't really need a reason to party - anytime we all get together it's a party!  So I imagine little sleep for me and Charlie and wall to wall blankets and pillows for everyone!
Brandy came in Thursday and we ran together last night - I usually do interval running for 4-5 miles but at MY pace - yesterday she was driving the pace and needless to say I am SORE.  I repeatedly told her - Mom's 60 you are only 20 - give me a break - nope you can do it.  (her) This is why I tell you you need a personal trainer to drive  you harder than you will drive yourself!  Probably true.
Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches - had fun with this one.  Used a Unity Stamp, an October Afternoon tag and a SRM sticker for it.

Next I have my layout for the Case File at CSI - lucky to say I've been asked to continue on the team for another term - YEAH!! Love these files - they make me stretch myself and my oldest daughter loves it because it often causes me to do a layout about myself - things she wants to hold on to. This one is about my princess Tess - who is lovingly referred to as the princess because she feels she is one - DEMANDS that she is one and expects EVERYONE to know and understand that.  She does not deal with other cats or dogs - she is above that - she is human as she wants you to know.  She's 14 now and still going strong.

Then I'm having so much fun scrapping Gavin - he's just the cutest little thing.  Here I used some old Crate Paper I've held on to for seems like forever - perfect for his little outfit.

Then another page with my latest Noel Mignon kit - went to order the next one and she says they are already sold out - ugh!!!

Thanks for stopping by - your sweet words make my day!  Off for another run - determined to take another 5-10 off before our cruise in May - already down 8!
