Happy Saturday!

WOW didn't think Saturday was ever going to get here! Long week but productive at work. Since I've been so busy last month my posting has been a little slim. I have a friend at work who follows my blog, loves Core'dinations and said I'm not posting enough inspiration for her. So today is for you Suzanne!
First off I have my card for For Your Inspiration - please join us. This is probably the most challenging blog I've found and I find it really challenges me each and every time to create a card from a photo but the cards I've made for this I love more than any I have made. Who knew? Please stop over at FYI and see what the rest of the Design Team has to show you - we have an awesome team! For my card I started with a stamp from Fancy Pants to made the background, then I stamped the sentiment with the trees with a Unity Stamp using two different color inks. The background is a piece of Core'dinations cardstock embossed and sanded and then I added a Martha Stewart flower and this fabulous ribbon I found in a little LSS in Austin.

Next up is my card for the sketch challenge at Unscripted Sketches. The added challenge is to use buttons. I used one of Nina Bracket's (from The Craft's Meow) stamps (gorgeous isn't it!) and My Mind's Eye papers.
Next is a page I did last night for the Color Challenge over at Color Combo Galore. I love these color challenge - what a perfect way to use Core'dinations. Normally I never use any patterned paper at all but I just got in a New Noel Mignon kit and pulled out some of her old kits (which I stock) and decided this would be a meeting of the minds. Starting off with some of the new Core Impressions for my background - this particular page is from the Pink Paisley Collection - the straight piece behind the photo is from the Basic Grey Collection and the rest of the page is from different Noel Mignon kits. The adorable little girl is my great-niece, Hailey. Photo was taken at her Nana's (my sister) house while she was sitting on the porch enjoying some ice cream and her cousin.
Next if you have been checking out the Core'dinations Blog you will see we have paired up with Paper Truck to show you how well these papers work together. Here are two pages I did using some of their papers and Core'dinations Cardstock. The first one is my niece's little boy, Cason and the second one is Cason's older brother, Brayden, and his little friend. I know you have heard me talk about this brave little miracle boy with his multiple heart surgeries. My sister told me my cousin said - How can you look at Brayden and not believe in God? Perfect - he's drawn our family even closer and is our inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by! (How's this Suzanne?)
