Sunday Posting and Core'dinations

Ok we have spent most of the last three days cleaning - one of those down and dirty ones that once you start you just keep finding more and more to do. I never even touched cleaning here in my scrap-room - going to save that for next week. I know it will take an entire weekend because I'll get side-tracked with all the stuff in here and have to scrap a little - clean a little but oh well. We'll see what comes out of it. For the weekend I had some Core projects to do so don'e have ALOT to show but I did find time to combine some Core with a couple of challenges. For the first one I found this at Color Combo Galore and was totally inspired with the colors to pull out some of the new papers I got from Core'dinations - the Glitter Silk - isn't it stunning! I embossed some white wash behind it which is a little hard to see but the core of the white wash it the tan color - then I used some more of the core base and embossed it as well as a piece of the gemstones collectioin. The picture (boy do I wish I could take credit for this) is by Mike Quinn, a head shot of Brandy taken out in LA for dance. Letter stickers Jenni Bowlin, flowers prima.

The next is the challenge over at Random Acts of Creativity that Chupa has started. I'm amazed at her work and couldn't resist. For this I used some of the Core'dination's Graphic 45 papers and cardstock and one of my new Smooches stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by - please keep you fingers crossed for me for getting back on the Core'dinations team.
