Sunday cards
Well first of all I wanted to show off the new collections put out by Jillibean and Cosmo Cricket together with Core'dinations. These are absolutely the yummiest papers I've ever had the chance to play with - if you scroll down to an earlier post you will see one I did with a piece of the Jillibean line. I have another one to show in a week or two for the Unscripted Sketches blog.
The first card I have is for CPS blog sketch. I saw this idea on a card (by Ryann Salamon) in the last ST to put little brads along a ridge and decided it was a perfect idea for this sketch and for core'dinations papers. Now I used an entire sheet of cardstock trying to work on white without getting it dirty - I kept pricking my finger with the brads and getting blood on it - grrrr! But finally here's a clean version!
Next I did this for the S2G challenge that used both a sketch and a challenge to use chocolate on your card - can be brown papers, etc. Here's what I came up with. I think the papers are Making Memories together with Core'dinations cardstock. The stamp Paper Salon and Cornish Hens.
The last card here is for Get Sketchy blog sketch challenge this week. For this I used some of my prized Scenic Route - so sad there's not going to be any more Scenic Route - one of my all time favorite paper lines!. Stamp is from the Michael's dollar bin. Thanks for stopping by! I'm actually going to try to get a layout done now! OH and I have someone coming out to fix my computer so my router and my wishblade work - oh happy day!

Happy Saturday!
Wow long week! Not really sure why but it was. Work wasn't overwhelming - peo ple seemed to be staying out of the hospital or at least not quite as many clamoring to get in so was a little slower this week. Managed to get some study time in - determined to take my CCRN (Certified Critical Care RN) this year. I keep putting it off year after year telling myself it doesn't make me a better nurse but need something now to climb the old corporate ladder so am going to do it. I HATE to study again - my brain just doesn't like it but am amazed at all I have absorbed over the years and really can guess my way through alot of it I think.
This week over at Unscripted Sketches I created this card for Sketch #40. I used some My Mind's Eye for this and a stamp by Stampabilities.
Then for my card this week over at Card Patterns I used some more of my stash (endless stash may I say) of My Mind's Eye - decided I was in a purple mood. Actually as much as most people hate purple I love it and am drawn to it. The stamp is Cornish Hens.
A couple of cards I did last week for different sites I haven't played at much before. The first is from Delightful Inspiration a site I found last weekend and am loving. Core'dinations all the way here together with my Cuttlebug folder.
The next is a sketch from Mojo Monday. For this I used some Basic Grey and a stamp from Elizabeth Bell. Isn't she sweet!
I'll have more later when I play with some more sketches. I also want to do another card or page with my new goodies from Core'dinations. Talk about some yummy papers - they have gone together with Jillibean Soup and Crate Paper to create some Core'dinations papers that are nothing less than fabulous. I created a card the other day (on an earlier blog) and I literally could just play and play and play with these new papers.
thanks for stopping by! Check later I'll have more

Sunday and CPS
Ok today I had a really hard time deciding about the CPS sketch - too many options really. I ended up doing two different cards and not sure I'm happy with either. Both cards use Core'dinations cartstock and my Cuttlebug. On the first I also used some core from the White Wash collection. The second one I've added some Jillibean as well.
This page is done for DT work for the IAAS kit. Such yummy papers this month from GCD.
These are my youngest, Brandy and Jason, getting the giggles. It's so cool to see after all the years during school when they fought all the time for them to have so much fun together now.
This last card I did for a sketch I saw at Just Magnolia Challenge Blog. Was all set to post it and then read the little message on the side that said it was for Magnolia images only. Oh well - loved how it came out. The patterned paper is BG, the stamp Elizabeth Bell DesignsThanks for looking!

Yeah it's Saturday!
First I wanted to show you a page I just did for Core'dinations using some of the Vintage Line and then my Fiskar's punch, some Queen & Co., embellishments and a Jillibean tag.
For Unscripted Sketches this week I used some Core'dination's papers, my Cuttlebug to emboss and then some Jillibean. The stamp is from Stamping Up and the sentiment from Cornish Hens.
Then from Card Patterns this week I made this little card using My Mind's Eye papers and a cute little stamp from Elizabeth Bell.
For the week over at Delightful Sketches I found this sketch and decided I wanted to do a baby card. Had just a little October Afternoon leftover and pulled it out to do this card. The stamps are from Paper Studio.
Then over at Get Sketchy they had this cute sketch and I used up the last scraps I had of my favorite My Mind's Eye paper! It is such a yummy girly paper line! The stamp I used is Penny Black the sentiment from The Angel Company.
Then I got this yummy kit from IAAS for January (it came a little late - papers were backordered) but it was worth the wait. Immediately when I saw the papers I thought about these pictures from last summer of my kiddos down on the beach. I'm a beach girl at heart and would rather do summer pages any day of the year. Thanks for stopping by - I'll have more later when I finish up what's on my desk here.

Wednesday - few more!
Ok not sure I like how this came out but posting it just the same. Obviously not feeling well is catching up with me today. Papers are by Bo Bunny, cardstock Core'dinations, image from Delightful Inspirations. Adorable little dogs!
Then I already had this image stamped and so decided to use it again. Here I have some My Mind's Eye - one of my favorite combinations of colors to mix.
Thanks for stopping by - tomorrow I'm determined to actually do a layout!

Well here's a couple more of some new sites I found - the first was from Mojo Monday and I used this Heidi Grace paper (which I won't tell you how long as been up in my stash!). The Stamp is a new one I got from Stampabilities
This second one is from Delightful Inspirations site (my first time to play there too) and since I already had this paper out I used it. Love this adorable little image.

Tuesday sharing
My son and dh have managed to share their sore throat - yuck with me. It is obviously very contagious so stayed home today to try to keep from spreading it all over. Either I was up coughing or could hear my dh coughing up a lung all night. Hopefully it will be over soon. Just some cards to share. First a couple of cards from 2 sketches 4 you site. The stamp on the first is from Sugar Nellie and the papers are Making Memories.
The next one is using a stamp I got from Penny Black and the papers are from Jillibean.
This last one is for the second sketch at My Sketch World this month and used another stamp from Sugar Nellie together with some papers from My Mind's Eye.
Ok had to come back and add another one - this is for the Sketch and Stash Blog - so glad I found their site! This is with some Bo Bunny papers (incredible what I'm finding that I have in trying to use up my stash before the new stuff gets here!) and some new stamps I got from Stampabilities. Thanks for looking!

CPS & 365 Cards Sunday
Ok today I ended up doing two for this sketch. Went into town this morning because Brandy needed to get her books - last semester YEAH! Anyway that turned into lunch (at Alamo Cafe - yum - still stuffed!), then a quick shopping trip to Banana Republic. Now I'm trying to make myself get some things done. So here's my take's for the CPS sketch this week. First one is with some October Afternoon papers, Stickles and a couple of stamps, Craft Smart, Stampabilities and G Studio.
The second card is using some Core'dinations papers, my Cuttlebug and some Making Memories. The stamps are Cornish Hens and Sugar Nellie. Then I found a new site (well new to me) of 365 cards and found this sketch today. For this I pulled out some Making Memories (still working hard to get rid of my stash) and put this together.
Finally playing with my core'dinations (and I had part of this purple left over from the other card. I had this in my head and it was perfect for this ribbon which has been in my stash forever! The stamp is from Stampabilities and I used the Score-Pal to create the lines on the core and then sanded them.
Thanks for stopping by!
