Love Sunday and all the new sketches - here's a few I got done. My first weekend at home in so long and love having time to scrap and get things done around the house. Brayden made it through the cath - they placed a plutonium plug in the aneurysm and extubated him this morning. It was literally life or death for him - it had to work or his aorta would have ruptured. Thank goodness for blessings and prayers - feel they have truly made a difference for this little guy.
Here are a few sketches - found a couple of new sites too and loved the sketches I found. The first one is from CPS this week - love this little circle. Used some American Craft papers in my effort to eliminate my stash. Stamp is by Cornish Hens.
The next sketch is from a site I just found called Sketch and Stash Challenge. For this card I used some more American Craft papers and a stamp from Stampabilities. Ink from Copic Markers
This sketch is from Unscripted Sketches. Fort his card I used some My Mind's Eye papers - love purple! Also the stamp is from once again Stampabilities (can you tell I've been hitting up Michael's for stamps!)
The last is from Get Sketchy to use your favorite color. Well I love pink but love it even more in combo with turquoise or black - today I chose turquioise. The stamp is an adorable stamp I got from the Angel Company and the punch was from Martha Stewart - in the little holes of the punch I made French Knots.
Thanks again for stopping by - all your sweet comments are greatly appreciated.

Saturday!
Well just got back from Brandy's dance recital - she both teaches and dances. Christmas program is short - thank goodness! Seems like it's never ending. Our little Brayden (3 yrs old), my sister's grandson who has already had 3 open heart procedures and just got home from the last one started running a little fever and had a bad tummy ache so they took him back and found an aneurysm near the area where they had just replaced the aortic valve. They went in for a cardiac cath today and placed a plug to shunt the blood the right way. We only pray this works - if not it will be another open heart procedure. Just can't see how any little guy should have to go through all this! Have a few cards to share - it's been SO BUSY that I just haven't had much time for anything. First is the card for Delightful Sketches - used October Afternoon papers on this.
This next one is last week's sketch over and Get Sketchy - little late but I still did it. Papers are Crate papers and stamps are from Cornish Hens.
The last one here is the CPS sketch from the week - just squeaking in here last day. Papers are from Sandylion.
These last two are done with Core'dinations cardstock - the first is a sketch from one of the sites - just can't remember which one - if I find it I'll give credit. The second is using Jillibean and the core'dinations cardstock.

Card Patterns Sketch - Tuesday
Back to work - today was the Trauma Christmas dinner - there was SO much food. Staff, residents and students ate and there was still food! I don't think I want to see turkey or ham for a LONG time. Was going to go to the gym but was afraid I was so full I would throw up - lol! So I'm scrapping instead - makes sense right? Oh forgot to say anything - got a card picked up for Cards this month - yeah. Also got 2 cards picked up for Cardmakers this month - love it! So for Card Patterns this week I used Basic Grey papers. Great sketch!

Nothing to share today but news! Brayden went home - he was so excited. He wouldn't sleep at the hospital and his parents were exhausted. They convinced the doctors that going home was in everyone's best interest. He's not very steady on his feet yet but talking up a storm! What a Christmas present for those of us who love him! One strong little boy with the desire to survive! We just got back from the Pulse (dance convention) in Dallas late last night. WOW WOW awesome! Brandy had so much fun and wow that girl can dance! There was some awesome talent there and the names there to teach were the tops - Mia, Chris, Gil, Dave, Wade (Brandy's heartthrob!) and Jamal. They were awesome - each and every one. The dances were amazing and I'm not sure but think my girl is a white-girl hip hopper! Fun weekend but I'm so far behind getting my scrapbooking and Christmas stuff done that I'm majorly stressing out! Will be posting cards this week as I get some done!

Tuesday and CPS
Ok finally got home in time to post this today - needed to get a picture in daylight. Brayden is healing - off most all ivs and has most of his tubes pulled. He's not walking yet but got a ride in the little red wagon to see the Christmas tree. Here's my card for CPS this week - fun sketch. Papers are by American Crafts.

Then here is a page I did for Core'dinations this month using some October Afternoon, some Jenni Bowlin and some Jillibean ribbon. Used my Score Pal to create these lines on the background and then a cuttlebug folder for the other core'dinations cardstock.
For Card Patterns this week I used some papers I got in my December IAAS kit from Making Memories and Graphic 45. Cardstock of course by Core'dinations and stamp by Cornish Hens

Friday - update
First of all Brayden made it through 14 hours of surgery - got a valve in that appears to be large enough to get him through adulthood unless he ends up a large adult (parents are small). Thankful for prayers we seem to have a little miracle. They are closing his chest today and hope to extubate him tomorrow. Off to Dallas today to take Brandy to Monsters of Contemporary - long drive but know it will be fun.
Then to share a sketch from 2 sketches 4 you for this week. Done with My Mind's Eye papers.
So grateful for all your prayers - keep us in them still for his speedy recovery. Thanks for stopping by

Wednesday - CPS sketch and a prayer request
Wow it's so dark and dreary here this week - YUCK - and cold! But I got home in time to snap a picture of the card I did for CPS sketch this week. Some more Jillibean here together with some core'dinations cardstock and some stamps from SUink. Fun sketch!
Then I also wanted to share the layout I did for the Homepage layout over at IAAS with the December kit. WOW the papers are pretty and the goodies even yummier. I'm off to work on a little mini album with more of the kit tonight. The papers are 7 gypsies and Making Memories. The little cuties are my great-nieces and nephew. All prayers are needed tonight for little Brayden. He is just barely three (and would you look at how healthy he looks!?????) He goes in in the morning for his third open heart procedure since he was born. We are all praying everything goes well and they can replace the valve they are concerned with with a valve that will last him through adulthood.
Thanks for stopping by.
