CPS - Anniversary Card Sketches

Day 7 of the Anniversary Sketches over at CPS. Really having fun playing along. Using up some of my stash for sure. Here's one with a digital stamp not sure whose and some 3 Bugs in a Rug papers. Sentiment stamp is from Smooches. Have to catch up again on the sketches on Tuesday or Thursday - working three of the next four days and don't get anything done when I do 12 hour days with an hour drive each way.

Saturday and Unscripted Sketches

Well it's Saturday already and I have to go back to work tomorrow - love my three day stretches off! Headed for the grocery this morning and then hoping to have lunch with my beautiful daughter and her friend who are home from college for the weekend. IF we are lucky they might spend the night here. AND I FINALLY (after two months!!!) got my Jeep back. It had a defective part that took them two months to come up with and a week to replace. Can't even begin to tell you the frustration we have had having to deal without a car. It rained a big one last night - heard it all night long! Hope we aren't flooded in our subdivision. We have a low water crossing and the idiots that built the subdivision went along the river bed and didn't build a bridge so every time there's a huge storm we are flooded in or out.
Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches. I went with simple today. I used some Core'dination's cardstock and embossed it then added a Designed 2 Delight image that fit Valentine's theme. Come join us and the rest of the Design Team this week and show us your inspiration.

CPS - Anniversary Card Sketches

Ok well since I just found the Anniversary Party was going on over at CPS yesterday I have a lot of cards to show. Been playing all yesterday and today and finally got pictures taken.
For the first day of their Anniversary Party here's my take on the first sketch: This is using Core'dinations cardstock and a Nina Bracket Stamp.



For the Second day of the Anniversary Party here's my card for the second sketch. I used some My Mind's Eye on this one together with another Nina Bracket Stamp.


Then moving along to Day Three. For this sketch I used some of the new Core'dination's Dots and some new Smooches stamps.

For Day Four I used some Best Creation's papers and A Unity Company stamp.

For Day Five I used more of the new Core'dination's line of dotted papers and another Smooches stamp. Paper is from Bo Bunny.For Day Six I used some Best Creation's papers and another Smooches stamp.

Sketabilities

WOW look at all the fabulous layouts from the DT at Sketchabilities! Here's mine using some Core'dinations cardstock together with some pp. little Jillibean tags, prima flowers, Spellbinders die cuts, pink paisley letter stickers. Can't tell you how I love seeing these two together - they are the two that kind of stray off the beaten path - run to their own music and love each other with a very special love - uncle and niece in a put together his, mine and ours family that found each other and have a very special bond. Both can be apart for times but when the are together this is how they are!

Saturday and Unscripted Sketches

Well here it is Saturday again and I'm gearing up to go back to work tomorrow. Got alot going on this week so it's going to be hit and miss here in the scrap room. Spent two days last week looking at houses and property in Grandbury, Glen Rose and Hico - pretty much coming to terms that we aren't going to be happy without building a new home. After I work like a dog to get this house all re-painted and all for selling I really don't want to start all over re-doing an older home again. We found a couple of lots on the river we like and may go back next week and pick one of them out. Everything we look at though just makes our place seem so much nicer. What can I say - we built our dream house and we live in a 3 acre park - what more could you ask for? (Family closer- yes, less house to clean - yes, but worth loosing this - not sure) The up side is we found a house plan that we both love and it alot smaller than what we have now.
Took both my guys to the Cardiologist today - Charlie came out with a clean slate. Jason (my son) who is only 19 has been found to have a conduction problem and is on medication now but it's still not controlling his hypertension so we are going to have some kidney testing done now.
But for Unscripted this week we have a new sketch for you. I racked my brain on this one but love how it came out. Used some Smooches stamps on this one.

Catching up

WOW my three days off is over and I LOVED every minute! Brandy came home Friday although haven't got to spend much time with her - she's too busy catching up with her friend's but still love that she's here!
Got a little scrapping in - although I still feel a little burn out after the rush for creating for CHA. Luckily Mindy loves most all of the stuff I worked on so sent off a nice little package the other day! Be sure and stop by the Core'dination's booth if you are lucky enough to get to go!
Here's a little of what I did during my time off. I loved the sketch at The Sweet Stop this week and combined it with the challenge at LOTV for a LOTV stamp and purple which is actually one of the colors I love to work with.


Here's a card I did for the Spark challenge at Smooches.
I combined the cloud with the cherry and then the base of the coffee mug to make this one together with some of the dotted collection from Core'dinations.
Then since Mindy had such a HUGE selection of cards and layouts to take to CHA there had to be some that just didn't make it - these were what I mad that didn't make the cut but wanted to share. First Black Magic - oh so totally love the black and yellow together!
Then some of the new dotted collection together with a stamp from There She Goes
then from Graphic 45 together with another stamp from There She Goes.
