Please join us today over at Designed 2 Delight for a blog hop to show off Faith's new stamps from Whipper Snapper Images as well as some new digi papers. Please be sure an comment on everyone's blog because there will be give-aways along the way and for one lucky final winner.
The first card is using one of her new images and the second card is using not only one of her images but her digital papers as well. Please enjoy yourself today and hop around to see almost all of her new adorable stamps. Can't tell you how hard it was to just select a few - there were so many that were just too cute to pass up. I'll be making a trip to one of the store carrying them so I can get my own!

Happy Saturday

Ok well today was my last day as a Case Manager for Trauma - shiff shiff. I hate to leave there - really hate leaving a few of the people I've worked with through out the years but it had just gotten to the point that I didn't enjoy it because of a few. SO I'm off to another adventure and moving back where I came from in the ICU. I'm taking three glorious weeks off and then starting on a reduced schedule in the ICU. I've always loved trauma and feel like it's up to make to make a difference no matter where I'm at. I'm just going to take that attitude and hide the tears and move on!
TODAY I have a couple of cards to show you. First off is my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. Once I pulled out this Core Couture I couldn't stop - LOVE the look of it embossed! Go check out all the other great card the rest of the Design Team has prepared for you and play along with us this week!

Next I have my card for For Your Inspiration this time. Love this fabulous photo and since I was already tuned into the Core Couture I went with more of it together with the sponsors image from Sweet & Sassy that was just gorgeous

Next I have a couple of card I have done for Designed 2 Delight recently with Faith's fabulous digitals. Aren't these awesome for Fall? Thanks for stopping by - working on some layouts but have a class all day tomorrow - ugh!

Sunday Posting

Wow the weekend went way too fast! But got alot done. We had some boys (family) down here from Arlington wanting to "float" the river. LOL we tried to tell them there wasn't much water at all in the river but they were determined! Boys! Got here about midnight Friday night and didn't want to wake us (although we were waiting for them!) and so slept in their car until Charlie went out to get the paper - then climbed into bed and slept until about 1:30 when we woke them up to lead them over to Gruene (since there's still SOME water there). Brandy, Charlie and I ate lunch and then found that the boys had decided it was too expensive over there and had come back here to try by the house. So they got "wet" - no float really to it but they had fun. Came home about 7-8 went to sleep yet AGAIN and got up this morning around 9 and headed home - had a ball! Let's see out of about 36 hours here they slept about 24.
Headed into my last week as a Trauma Case Manager - will then have three glorious weeks off and then start back in STICU.
Here's my scrap work for the weekend although I did get several more cards done for the D2D blog - trying to get ahead which seems impossibly lately. First off is the sketch from Sketch Saturday this week - inspired me to use this D2D image and pulled out an old Noel Mignon kit to try to use up all the papers which I seem to only make a small dent in.

Next is my card for Card Patterns this week - I'm not impressed at how it turned out. The Cardstock is Core'dinations - tag from a Noel Mignon kit and stamps from Smooches.

The next sketch is the one over at CPS this week. I used some My Mind's Eye papers for this one together with this cute litte snowman from Unity Stamps. The sentiment is a Smooches stamp.

Next up is the sketch from Taylored Expressions this week. Used a Unity Stamp on this Echo Park papers for this one.

Last I have a page I made for the color challenge over at Color Combo Galore this week. Here I went almost all the way with the Core'dinations Cardstock - My Mind's Eye collection plus a little My Mind's Eye papers. The cuties are my little great-nieces, Katy and Hailey.
Thanks for stopping by! Your sweet words make my day!

Saturday and Unscripted sketches

One more week at my current job - then three glorious weeks off then I start back to the STICU. Although I realized I have a re-certification class the very next day (Sat) and then a doctor's appt on Monday. Oh well still can't wait for the time off. Off for a morning walk in this nice cool air!
Here's my card for the Unscripted Sketch and challenge this week. The challenge portion of this was to put numbers on your card - we all seems to lean towards the Birthday Cards with this. Please stop by Unscripted Sketches to see all the other great inspiration the Design Team has for you and play along with us this week.
My paper are some from Bo Bunny.

Monday posting

Took today off and enjoyed it! I painted the ceiling in my dining room - probably my least favorite part of painting. I don't know who got more paint splatters me or the floor. Doesn't matter how hard you try to cover everything up when you paint the ceiling there's paint everywhere. BUT it's done! Then my hubby went to Arlington, kids went with friends and I treated myself to lunch alone and a lot of scrappy time.!
First I have a card for the sketch at The Sweet Stop. Used everything but the stamp from a Noel kit (probably two years old now) and then a Smooches stamp.

The next card is for the sketch over at CPS. Echo part papers and Smooches stamps.

Then for the sketch over at Card Patterns I started off following the sketch and realize now I never added the little bling in the top right hand corner. Oh well. Papers from My Mind's Eye and stamp is a digital from Designed 2 Delight.

The last card is for the sketch over at Random Acts of Creativity by Chupa. Love this sketch. Pulled out some old Crate Paper for this one.

Thanks for stopping by - back to work tomorrow.

Saturday - YEAH!

Another week flew by and here I am again for a LONG weekend. Going to Austin today to meet my best friends for their birthday. The one who moved to Austin a couple of years ago is celebrating her 60th birthday. Can't wait! Today I have quite a lot to share for a Saturday morning but had several things in waiting to be posted on blogs first. First off is my card this week for Unscripted Sketches. Thought immediately of what I wanted to do when I saw this sketch. The stamp is one I picked up at Michael's from Hero Arts and papers are Basic Grey. Please come play along with us this week and stop by and see what the rest of the Design Team has created.

Next I have a card and a layout to share with you from this month's color challenge over at Core'dinations. You have to check out both the blog and facebook to see all the fabulous creations this team has put together. Some very talented ladies I work with and of course a fabulous product! The cutie is my grandson, Matthew.

Next is a card that I did with last week's image over at Designed 2 Delight. Found these TCP Studio papers perfect for the theme.
Last I made this last night with the color combo this week over at Color Combo Galore. Wasn't sure of it at first and then I remembered these photos I had of Madison, my granddaughter, that were taken by Traci Hernandez with T.H. Photography. Awesome photo work! Course she had a beautiful subject to work with ( just grandma pride there - this is my own little miracle as I delivered her in the front yard 14 years ago now!). I used the sketch over at Sketch@bilities.blogspot.com
Thanks for stopping by! More tomorrow I hope!

Thursday Posting

How about some Thursday cards! This is the first day of the new challenge photo over at For Your Inspiration. Drop on by the site - the team has once again outdone themselves with their cards. And for the first time we have a sponsor, Sweet and Sassy Stamps. I've used the butterfly set with sentiment on mine with some Basic Grey papers and a Unity Stamp.

The for the sketch this week over at Random Acts of Creativity, Chupa has another beautiful sketch to go for. For this I used some of the Echo Park paper collection and have no idea where I got this image.
Thanks for stopping by!
