Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! We had a wonderful day yesterday for Brandy's Graduation. Lots of good pictures too. It was a nice graduation - few speakers and I was just amazed at how smooth it went. Brandy, of course, had to do a little dance when she reached the stage. She said she didn't all out dance across the stage as they had been warned that if they acted up too much they wouldn't get their degree - lol! Then my mother and sister and son all had a late lunch and visited here at the house before Brandy went off to be with her friends bemoaning the fact that she was the only graduate that hadn't already turned 21 so she was going to be left out of several parties (as a Mom probably for the best!)
Back to scrapbooking here a page I did this weekend with my sister's granddaughter's, Hailey and Katy, using Imaginisce and Core'dinations papers.


My husband and kids took me to a fancy restaurant for a late lunch today down on the River Walk - haven't been down there for years and it's really built up. Good seafood lunch though. Here's my card this week for the CPS challenge. Used the digital image from Delightful Inspirations this week and some American Crafts papers and Core'dinations cardstock - sticker is by SRM.



For the challenge over at Cardvarks this week I picked this sketch. Using a digital image from Sweet and Sassy I used some American Crafts and Core'dinations cardstock to make this card. The sticker is from SRM.



And of course I wanted to share some of the photos I took of Brandy yesterday. LOL on the way to the graduation I told Charlie - guess Brandy was to busy taking tests to remember she didn't have new dress for today - he said, Oh No - she's got a new one to the tune of about $85! LOL - that's my girl!

Saturday!

WOW Saturday has come! My beautiful daughter, Brandy, who is 21 the end of this month, graduates from college today! Where did the time go - dance classes, proms, recitals (course we still do those), so many miles together in the car traveling to and from competitions and special occasions. Hard to believe what all she has accomplished. Today she graduates from UTSA with a Bachelors in Science! Off to see the world!
Today I have a few cards to share and maybe later will have a couple more and a page to share as well if it gets light enough to take a picture. First of all is the sketch this week from Unscripted Sketches. I used some Core'dinations cardstock, embossed it and then used some Crate Paper. The stamp is from Rachelle Anne Miller. Next I have the sketch from Card Patterns this week. For this week we got these beautiful images from The Stamping Boutique. This card is from The Sweet Stop this week. I was asked to be their guest designer for the month of May and have been having so much fun with their digital images from Sweet and Sassy Stamps. For this card I used some Webster's Pages - it just seemed like a Webster's Week for me - pulled out my Webster's and just couldn't get enough of it. Happy Friday!

Took a day - Brandy graduates tomorrow from College and so I wanted to spend a little more time cleaning up before Mom and Jody (sister) get here tomorrow. Not a big celebration but just family. Although so far very little cleaning going on - finished up my card for the sketch from Mojo Monday. I used some of the new cardstock that Core'dinations has put out in combination with Jillibean together with some Black Magic cardstock again from Core'dinations. The stamp is a new one I got from Stampabilities.

Sunday Cards

Over at CPS this morning I found this sketch. Decided to mix it up with the cute digital image I found over at Delightful Inspirations this week to create this card. I pulled out some Jillibean for this card , some American Crafts letters and a SRM sticker.The next card I did for the Sketch over at Sketch and Stash this week. I've been on a Webster's Pages paper and did this card and another one I can't share yet. Not quite sure I've got it out of my system - love Webster's Pages - there just never enough time to scrap with all the papers I would like to scrap with.

Then over at Get Sketchy this week found this sketch. Decided to use some of the new Core'dinations Jenni Bowlin papers for this one and had this pretty metal piece for the center piece. Not sure I'm happy with this one but I'm not often the best judge.

Taylored Expressesions had a really cute sketch this week and last week. Since I didn't get to get mine in in time last week I've just posted it along with this week's sketch. Both cards are done completely with Core'dinations cardstock.

Friday -

Here's my card for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week - I know I'm late but can't even tell you what kind of week this has been - so glad it's OVER. BUT now I need to clean my house - Brandy graduates next weekend and my Mother (white glove!) and family will all be here so have to do some cleaning! Papers are American Craft (some old in my stash), SRM sticker. Oh and I don't guess it's a sticker but they have asked me to be the Guest Designer for May so am going to be doing cards for them all month long!

Sunday and CPS and another Core'dinations page

For the CPS sketch this week I used some Core'dinations cardstock together with a sheet of Jillibean paper. The stamps are from the Lovely Shelf collection by Nina Brackett which are so pretty! Copic markers!

Then I did another page for Core'dinations with the new Core Amour Onyx collection. This is my little great-nephew, Brayden, who has already had three open heart surgeries in his short three years. His Cardiologist nominated him for Make a Wish and they came and saw him last week and granted his wish. He wanted to go along with his cousins (who had plans to go) to Disney World this summer.
