Saturday

First off today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches. For this I used some of my Crate Papers and a new stamp I got from Unity Stamp Company. Love this stamp! The button is from Jillibean.

Then this week's card sketch over at The Sweet Stop inspired me to use my new Nina Brackett stamps and some old Daisy Bucket papers I had.
Ok I'm coming back to edit this post and add one more card today. This is a sketch I found over at Taylored Expression. Still working with more of this same line of Crate Paper and used an Imaginisce stamp I had, a little paper piecing. Can you tell I've really been into the sewing lately. Seems like I want to sew on every card. Now if I could get that much enthusiasm for getting my new slacks hemmed I might be able to wear them next week.

Friday scrapping

Happy Friday! So glad to have a day off! I get one once every two weeks and this is my good week. Today was beautiful outside but chilly this morning so started off in the gym. Then I did two huge loads of towels - the boys cannot get through their heads that they can use a towel more than once!!!! Today I decided to play at 2 sketches 4 you using Laura's card and used an adorable image I got from Delightful Inspirations. The papers are from Best Creations and actually has little clouds in it - the sticker is SRM - man I love these stickers. Cardstock is of course Core'dinations.


The next card is Shanna's card at 2 sketches 4 you and I used some of the new Core'dinations Gemstones collections together with some American Crafts papers and a new stamp I just got by Nina Brackett my co-designer at Card Patterns. Her stamps are amazing by the way!
Last of all here is a page I just did with yet another of the new lines from Core'dinations called Core'Amour. This is the Onyx collection - the entire collection is just amazing - there are so many surprises when you sand it. It needed so little to finish the page - almost did itself. The adorable little subjects are my sister's grandkids, Brayden (our 3 heart surgery survivor!), Katy and Hailey.

CPS and Core'dinations

First of all here's my card for CPS sketch this week. Not sure I'm happy with it but may play with the sketch later this week again. American Craft papers and the stamp is from Unity Stamp Company.


The next to share is a page I did with one of the Becky Fleck sketches at Scrapbook and Cards Blog. For this I used some of the new Cosmo Cricket Papers that Core'dinations is putting out together with some of the new Sable Core Amour. The color palette is Chocolate Strawberry, Such fun papers to work with. The adorable subjects of the page are my grandson's Collin (who will be 13 next week as he tells everyone!) and Kadin a big 6 years old together with their buddy Jack.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter and Happy Birthday Mama! My Mom is 83 years old today - second time also for her birthday to fall on Easter - although I think it will like every 11 years from now on (she had this all figured out). We had dinner at my sister's yesterday and visited with my niece and her little girls and then the girls took a trip to the outlet mall (well my son went too) and bought us some bargains!!


Next I combines two challenged. The sketch challenge over at The Sweet Stop together with the freebie digi over at Delightful Inspirations. Used Crate Paper on this one.
Finally here's a page I did using the sketch challenge over at Scrapbook & Cards Today that Sarah Hodginson created combining Becky's sketch and Colour Lovers. I used a color combo called Sunkist together with Core'dinations Cardstock and some Queen & Company using this sketch. This page is done with all Core'dinations Cardstock - some from the Core collection, the Vintage collection and the newest from the Jillian Collection.

Saturday - Easter weekend!

First off today I have my card for Card Patterns fun sketch this week. This week we got to play with some of the cutest images . I had a friend drop by last night and we sat out in our little corral and chatted. Me not being able to sit still managed to get all the leaves raked while we were talking - leaving the clean up for my dh next week. Tomorrow is my mother's 83rd birthday and we are off today to Round Rock to have a party for her. She wants a new storm door for her birthday so we have all chipped in to get it for her and get it installed. I also hope to make a run to the outlet mall to a couple of stores who have advertised some good sales. Hope your day is wonderful - it's supposed to be up to 85 here - YEAH!

When I saw this little guy I was immediately drawn to some papers I had from American Crafts Easter collection.

Next I have the card I created for the sketch at Unscripted Sketches this week. I used another image from The Stamping Boutique together with some American Crafts papers and an SRM sticker.Then I found this sketch at Taylored Expressions blog and using some Crate Paper (love this line) and a SRN sticker, Jillibean button and some ribbon from the LSS made this card.

Thursday and Mojo Monday; Core'dinations and Noel Mignon

First off finally got home a night early enough to get a picture to post my card for the challenge over at Mojo Monday. Used one of my new Unity Stamps for this one and some My Mind's Eye.


Then this card I made with some Best Creations papers and an SRM sticker for my Mom's 83rd birthday this weekend.


Next I have several pages here that I have done recently and just finally gotten around to posting here. Here's some pages I have done recently with Core'dinations. The first one here is of my two twin grandchildren when we took them to Sea World one year using the WhiteWash collection and my Score-Pal and Cuttlebug folders.

This next page is my little great-niece's birthday party using some of the new Jillibean Soup Collection from Core'dinations - isn't it yum?
This page is my another new Core'dinations collection done with Cosmo Cricket. Another line that is just so fun and easy to work with.
Next is a page I did of my son down at Corpus last summer with another sheet of the new Core'dinations and Jillibean Soup. I love the flowers on it.

Last but not least at two pages I did with some of the kits I have gotten from Noel Mignon. Her kits are just fabulous - everything you can possibly want is already there - just have to lay it out! The first page is my adorable youngest granddaugther, MaKenna - just being MaKenna.

This page is my little great-niece, Katy Bug who really thinks her name is Katy Bug.
