Another great week here - weather has been great. I'm working today though which isn't fun but I'll be off tomorrow.
First up is my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. Fun sketch to play with. And I had this cute Dear Lizzy stamp I wanted to use on this.
Next up is my page for the CSI Case file this week. The Case led me to do a page about my favorite things I like to do - my therapy as I call it - starting off with scrapping!
Journaling:
As a trauma level one ICU nurse I am always under pressure at work because my mistake or oversight could mean someone's life. And it being a teaching hospital I also have to be vigilant that a new doctor doesn't make a mistake as well. So when I am home I've learned to enjoy my time. Being around trauma makes me appreciate and love my family and friends and appreciate what God has given me. Now that I'm part time I get to spend a little more time doing these things. So on my days off the things that bring me joy are pretty simple but I love them. I love being able to have a couple of cups of coffee and catch up on fb. On a work morning it's in a thermal cup on my long drive in. After my leisurely coffee I put on my running shoes and out the door I go. Lunch with hubby at our favorite place is a bonus. Then of course I love my scrapping and love spending the afternoon here in my studio. But in the evening or if I have to go somewhere my book is always with me - who knows when there will be a spare moment to read a little. And evenings while hubby watches TV I combine my reading with crochet. All this brings me peace and I treasure every second!

Wow the week is gone and I've been in this house the entire time!!! UGH. Had the week off but hubby has a big job in Eagle Pass. We have been reduced to one car because my son's car is in the shop so he's using Dad's truck. SO things haven't been great down there and hubby had to go down to supervise meaning little me has been stranded here with no car. On the good side if you will scroll down a few posts I've been scrapping like a mad woman. Been through two kits and still going. Today I have up my regular DT posts for you. First up is my card for US. I used some Core'dination's TH shattered collection for this together with one of my new Lawn Fawn stamps (love) and a David Tutura Tag.
Next up is my page for this weeks Case File over at CSI. LOVED these colors and found the perfect photo to solve the case with this picture of two of my daughters at Dad's birthday party this summer.

Scrapping on my week off!
Well hubby has a job in Eagle Pass and has been gone almost all my week off. We are down to one car d/t my son's car being in the shop so I've been stranded - well what am I to do but scrap!!!
Here's a few pages I did with my Noel Mignon kit this week
First up my daughter (right) with her bff's Megan
Next up Brandy during our cruise dressed up and looking good for dinner every night!
Next a photo of my son that I love!
These were taken during our last "group" birthday party for my hubby, his son and his SIL of three generations!
Last up I started with paper from the Noel kit but then turned to some MME that I had to work this one up. This is my granddaugther, Madison. Photos were by T. Hernandez

Wednesday and Gossamer Blue
Got my first Gossamer Blue kit (just signed up) and since I was stuck here with no car and no one around for two days ( hubby had to go to Eagle Pass and son's car is in shop so we were down to one car) so guess what I've been doing! YEP scrapping by little heart out. I got their main kit, embellishment kit and then they had a little special kit they sent out for signing up. I used all but one sheet of the paper but didn't come close to using up the embellishments or the letter stickers - they sent tons!!! Here's what I created from the kit. Next up is working on the remainder of the Noel Mignon kit I still have on my desk!
Friday I plan to make a trip up to San Marcos - they are having a CK convention and I haven't been in YEARS! Kim and I went years and years ago. Hoping not to spend a fortune! I really don't NEED anything but that's never stopped me when it comes to scrapbook supplies!
First up is my granddaughter, Madison. She had a photo shoot with T. Hernandez for cheerleading and she took some casual poses as well.
Then next up is little Gavin. Mom had shirt stickers for each month to document how much he's grown. He is my daughter's bff's baby (Brandy is his part time nannie) and I'm official "other" Grandma.
Then these pictures were take of Brandy and her Dad in July at the big birthday party we have for the guys whose birthday is that last week in July. Brandy was going to get down with her dad but she lost it when dad started grooving out!
Last up are these pictures I got of Jason and his girlfriend at the zoo. While I was scrapping them I was remembering all the times we have taken Jason and Brandy to the same zoo and taken their pictures at these same spots! Time goes too fast!
Thanks for stopping by - your sweet words always make my day.

Saturday Blogging with US and CSI
Happy Saturday. I'm working this weekend so hoping for some slow trauma and a quiet ICU weekend - haha! But I have a few thing today. First off my card for Unscripted Sketches. Got some birthdays coming up so can always use more cards!
Next up is my page for CSI this week. Here's the colors will try for the entire Case File when it's posted this evening.
This is my take - these are photos of little Gavin - such a sweetie in his T shirt that says Mommy Loves me - seemed perfect for the title.
Last up is just a page I did using my Noel Mignon kit this month of Gavin and his mommy on wedding day.

We are here all week long together with Lawn Fawn to provide you loads of inspiration using Core'dination's cardstock and Lawn Fawn stamps. Each member of our team got different stamps and we have all had fun oohing and awing over everyone else's projects. I got several background stamps and LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Here's two projects I created with them. On the first I used a sheet of Tim Holtz Kraft paper which I sanded first and then stamps - love the effect!

Tombow!
Wow I was so thrilled to be contacted by Tombow to work with some of their products for their big 100 Day of Tombow! They sent me these cool products to work with and I created two cards
There were colored pencils and markers and a tape runner. I used some digital images I had and for this first card I colored with the colored pencils. And of course used the tape runner to adhere it all together.
Then for the second card I again used a digital image and colored it with the colored markers. Also used the tape runner to put this together - so easy to us!
Thank you Tombow and congrats on the 100 days of Tombow!
