WOW Sunday already and the weekend's already over. Hate to see it end. There's just so much scraping I could be doing if it wasn't for W O R "K! Oh well pays the bills I guess. Here's a few cards and a page I did this weekend. There were so many fund sketches this week and I just got my latest monthly shipment of Smooches Stamps to play with. First up I have my card for the CPS sketch this week. I know mine's a very loose interpretation but wanted to play with the stamps! Papers are Echo Park - stamps Smooches
Next up is my card for the Card Patterns sketch this week. Again I have used Echo Park papers and some Smooches stamps.
Then the next sketch is the one from The Sweet Stop. I used some TCP Studios papers here and a Mo Digital image for this Back to School card.
Then lastly I have a layout I did for the Color challenge at Color Combo Galore this week. I can't follow directions well obviously -my title isn't in caps and didn't use a transparency but managed the rest of the instructions. Got sidetracted by the page and then I liked how it went so kept going. This is my little great-nephew, Cason, playing at the pool. All papers are from Core'dinations, used a Spellbinders and a Cheery Lynn embossing plate, Cuttlebug folders and Core Impressions for this page - then sanded and distressed.
Thanks for looking!

Happy Saturday!
Well it's been a busy long week. Took off Thursday and drove up to Eastland and walked the 6.67 acres we are buying from my middle daughter, Kristi, which is right next to Kim (my oldest daughter) and her family. CANNOT wait until I can move up there - scrap heaven for me and Kim! We walked the property and decided where we wanted to build, talked to a banker, the closing office and went to see the electrical company but being a small town found the sign on the door - out to lunch - be back at _____. Too funny. Anyway today was stressful. I quit the job at the hospital that I have been doing for the last 8 years and am going back to the ICU on a reduced schedule. I committed to two 12 s then three days off and back again. We will see how it works - it will give me more time at home and less time on the road so I can get this house ready to sell. Hard to do anything when you only get the weekend off an then I want to relax and scrap!
Today I have my card for the sketch at Unscripted Sketches this week. Please drop on over to the blog and check out what the team has to show you - they rocked this challenge.
This is totally Core'dinations Cardstock - used some of the White Wash collection and scored it and then sanded to create my sketch lines. Then I embossed and sanded a Cuttlebug tag and used some Basic Grey Rub-ons on it and in the bottom left corner. I added a ribbon and flowers (prima).
Thanks for stopping by - hope to work on some more things this weekend.

Sunday Sharing!
WOW I hate how the weekend just flies by - want them to last longer but it was a productive scrappy weekend for me. We went Saturday to the mall (what a ZOO!) and got Jason some new tennis shoes and a hat. Decided he would just order jeans on line because it was so crowded. Then had lunch with him which was nice. Hard to get a 19 year old boy to sit and talk to you.
Today I have some cards and a page to share and then I need to go scrub the bathroom floor - UGH!
First off is my card for Card Patterns this week. Loved this sketch. Pulled out some My Mind's Eye papers and a digital stamp from Designed 2 Delight together with a stamp from Nina Bracket at the Craft's Meow.
Next is my card for the sketch at CPS this week. I used some of Core'dinations awesome Gemstones collection and then a new stamp I picked up from Inkadinkado. The butterfly stick on buttons are from Jenni Bowlin.
The next card is for the sketch at The Sweet Stop. I used one of the Mo Digital stamps on this and some Echo Park papers. The rubon is a Pink Paisley one.
Did this challenge for the sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays this week. Everything here is from a Noel Mignon kit. Wasn't sure I knew how to do a page with pattern paper only -I go for Core'dinations as a rule but was determined to do one totally from the kit. My niece, Tara, and her little one, Cason, just having some fun at the pool.
Then I did this sketch challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch. Brandy's home from LA to get her Master's and we are so enjoying her being here. Here she was all dressed up to go out so I managed to get her to let me take a couple of pictures. I love her gorgeous curls (from the straight haired mother!) The papers are from the new Core Impressions line done with My Mind's Eye - papers are from a Noel Mignon kit and alot of them are from My Mind's Eye as well.
Then here's a couple of cards I did for a rush submission request from Cardmakers - I'm happy to say they did pick up one of the ones I made but these were the rejects. Totally done with Core'dinations cardstock. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Saturday!
WOW didn't think Saturday was ever going to get here! Long week but productive at work. Since I've been so busy last month my posting has been a little slim. I have a friend at work who follows my blog, loves Core'dinations and said I'm not posting enough inspiration for her. So today is for you Suzanne!
First off I have my card for For Your Inspiration - please join us. This is probably the most challenging blog I've found and I find it really challenges me each and every time to create a card from a photo but the cards I've made for this I love more than any I have made. Who knew? Please stop over at FYI and see what the rest of the Design Team has to show you - we have an awesome team! For my card I started with a stamp from Fancy Pants to made the background, then I stamped the sentiment with the trees with a Unity Stamp using two different color inks. The background is a piece of Core'dinations cardstock embossed and sanded and then I added a Martha Stewart flower and this fabulous ribbon I found in a little LSS in Austin.
Next up is my card for the sketch challenge at Unscripted Sketches. The added challenge is to use buttons. I used one of Nina Bracket's (from The Craft's Meow) stamps (gorgeous isn't it!) and My Mind's Eye papers.
Next is a page I did last night for the Color Challenge over at Color Combo Galore. I love these color challenge - what a perfect way to use Core'dinations. Normally I never use any patterned paper at all but I just got in a New Noel Mignon kit and pulled out some of her old kits (which I stock) and decided this would be a meeting of the minds. Starting off with some of the new Core Impressions for my background - this particular page is from the Pink Paisley Collection - the straight piece behind the photo is from the Basic Grey Collection and the rest of the page is from different Noel Mignon kits. The adorable little girl is my great-niece, Hailey. Photo was taken at her Nana's (my sister) house while she was sitting on the porch enjoying some ice cream and her cousin.
Next if you have been checking out the Core'dinations Blog you will see we have paired up with Paper Truck to show you how well these papers work together. Here are two pages I did using some of their papers and Core'dinations Cardstock. The first one is my niece's little boy, Cason and the second one is Cason's older brother, Brayden, and his little friend. I know you have heard me talk about this brave little miracle boy with his multiple heart surgeries. My sister told me my cousin said - How can you look at Brayden and not believe in God? Perfect - he's drawn our family even closer and is our inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by! (How's this Suzanne?)

Sunday Sharing
Went to an Airlife Trauma course yesterday so feel like my weekend is shot. LONG day but great conference. I have a hard time going to any CEU conferences that don't interest me so I'm very select. I only have a page to share today - didn't get much done except keep up with the laundry and me. This is for the color challenge over at Color Combo's Galore - always love their challenges. Core'dinarionas Impressions here. My daugher came home the end of May for a week and we took her and her friend and my son and his friend to the coast for a weekend - so much fun. Course I'm a total beach nut and put me by the water - give me some sun and a book and yeah I'm good!
Thanks for stopping by!

Saturday posting
WOW Happy Saturday to you! Hope yours will be better than mine - lol! I have an ALL day conference to attend so won't be getting to do any scrapping today and will probably be dragging for the next week. BUT I wanted to post and share what I did for this week. First off is a card I did for the DT challenge over at Designed 2 Delight this week to create a pink and black card with a Designed 2 Delight image. Of course I used some Core'dinations cardstock for this one and one of Faith's cute new images.
Next off is my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. Had to flip this one around some to work for me but had fun with it. Used some Echo Park on this one and one of my new Nina Bracket stamps from the Craft's Meow.
Finally this is my page for the monthly color challenge over at Core'dinations this month. All Core here and my adorable little great -niece, Katy.

Sunday Cards
Weekends just fly by too quick - never enough time to get everything done. I did make a little time for scrapping though and got a few cards done - actually got a couple of pages done as well but can't show them yet - are for the Core'dinations blog later this month. BUT did you see the month long color challenge over at Core'dinations? This is the color inspiration this month. The design team has rocked it so far with several different takes on the same colors. Check the boards regularly to see all the different things the team has come up with off the same inspirational photo.
Then I found this sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week and since I had just got in my new Nina Bracket stamps from the The Craft's Meow I couldn't wait to play with them. The happy birthday stamp is from Paper Smooches. The papers are Echo Park.
The next sketch I went after was over at CPS this week. I also recently got in some new stamps from Paper Smooches and loved these little elephants! Also my granddaughter's favorite animal (she has them ALL over her room). Papers once again are Echo Park. Kin and I ran into a new LSS in Austin and they had several paper sets of Echo Park which we promptly snatched up!
The last card is for the sketch over at Card Patterns - always dear to my heart - loved working on this team! The cardstock is all Core'dinations and the stamp is one of Nina Brackets again.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful week.

Monday posting - CPS
Unfortunately most of what I got done today I can't post - catching up on DT commitments and some washing. Have to get ready to go back to work tomorrow although I have enjoyed my day. Here's my card for CPS this week. Played with some Echo Park I picked up this weekend on a lucky look for the gas station and found a scrapbook store! The stamps are my new stamps from Paper Smooches.
