Happy Sunday - lazy here - dreading going back to work tomorrow when everyone is off - done with school. But I'm taking off Friday for a LONG weekend (until Wed) down at the coast so I'll live!. Today I didn't get much done but here's a couple of cards and a layout. The first is for Taylored Expressions.
For this one I used some Best Creations papers and Core'dinations cardstock and this cute digital.
for the next card I used the sketch over at Sketch and Stash blog and combined it with the free digital at Delightful Inspirations. I used some Scenic Route papers for this one. and some butterflied that are combined with Sandylion Essentials and some Prima felt butterflies.
Then last of all I did this page of Brandy and her Dad at her graduation using some of the new Core Amour Onxy collection - LOVe this stuff! I used the cuttelbug, score it and also tore and sanded the papers.

Saturday and Graduation!
Well Saturday and Jason's graduation is finally here. He's struggled through this last year (too much play time and too little school work!) but he did it. Now on to see the college world. We are going to San Marcus for his ceremony and my Mom and Sister are meeting us. But for today here's my cards for this week's Design Team work. First of all I have the card from Card Patterns. Once again this week our sponsor is the Little Paper Shop where I got this adorable little image. I used some 3 Bugs papers for this
that just seemed to work with the theme of the image. I'll update the link here later - I think I'm ahead of them today.
Next I have my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. For this card I pulled out a new Unity Stamp I have and used some American Crafts papers.
This is my last week as Guest Designer over at The Sweet Stop - have so enjoyed working with their talented team on these wonderful sketches. For this adorable image from their shop I used some Jillibean papers.
Then for the Mojo Monday (now posted on Saturday!) here's my card with an adorable image from The Sweet and Sassy stamps and Scenic Route papers.

Sunday sharing
Ok Sunday came way too fast this weekend (even though I had three days!) NOT ready to go back to work - much less work about about a 13 hour day but gotta do it! Here's some cards to share. This first one if for the the sketch this week at Sketch Saturday together with the digital image from Delightful Inspirations by Faith. The papers are American Crafts.
The next is my card for this week's Taylored Expressions. I used the last of my coveted Crate Paper - love love love this bright line with the paper dolls!
Then to share some pictures I took this afternoon (bad quality - taking them on stage and couldn't use a flash) of Brandy. Her dance studio where she teaches was having a Showgroup performance and they had a dance for former students and teachers (of which she's taught there for over a year now). David Hernandez (behind her) coreographed the number and there were five in it. David and Brandy spent years in Showgroup together and always seemed to manage to be right next to each other and complement each other so well.

Satruday cards
Wow Saturday already! This is the month that we have 7 family birthdays! All three of my girl's birthdays are the 24th (Kim) and the 26th (Kristi and Brandy), then my sister's SIL's birthday is the 26th as well. We already had Kim's twins on the 1st, mine on the 13th. Any my niece is doing her darnest to have her little boy this month as well. But anyway, here's cards. Starting off this week is my card for Card Patterns. This week once again our sponsor is Paperworks. our sponsor is PaperWorks Co.
PaperWorks Co (fondly known as PWCO) is a online scrapbooking and rubberstamping supplies store based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Besides carrying an array of supplies (think Copics, Nesties, Cuttlebug, etc), we have recently branched out to include our own line of line of deeply etched rubber stamps. Most recently, we invited Rachelle Anne Miller to design a new whimisical line thats exclusive to PWCO. To top that, our in-house Design Team consists of a bunch of SUPER talented ladies from US and Canada, and you can find their work at our blog. Make sure to check them out!
They actually sent out each of us a stamp and then stamped several other images out for us so that we could use them as well. Needless to say this stamp was so adorable I had to go and order all of them that she sent - they should be here any day now. I used some American Crafts papers and Pebbles dots.
This next card is for Unscripted Sketches this week. I still have a little of this Crate Paper line that I dearly love (yeah it's bright and I LOVE bright!). Same here - will have to come back later and renew the link when they get this new sketch up.
Then I'm still Guest Designer at The Sweet Stop this week and this was our sketch. I used an image I got from the Sweet and Sassy Stamp Store with some Best Creations papers I had that just seemed all girly for this image.
Then I also have a layout done! Yeah for me - sometimes I struggle after making so many cards. But I opened this Noel Mignon kit last week and it's calling my name now. These are pictures from my Mom's 83rd birthday party and it just melted my heart when I looked over and saw Jason (texting away with his friends) playing tea party with shy little Katy. The cardstock is some of the new collection by Core'dinations together with Cosmo Cricket - just sanded it lightly - love the linen look of it!
Ok sneaking yet another page I got done today with another one of the Noel Mignon kits. This is my daughter on her college graduation day. So proud of her - 20, college graduate, confident and becoming a beautiful woman. Lastly just wanted to share a couple of cards I made for my daughter and my sister's SIL for their birthdays. Kristi's card (1st one) is made from some My Mind's Eye that I had in stock. The second card is made with Core'dinations cardstock and a Cuttlebug embossing folder, some ribbon, buttons and a Martha Stewart tag and SRM sticker.

Thusday and 2 Sketches 4 you
Today I got time to finish up my card for 2 Sketches 4 You. For this one I used one of the same images that they had from the Stamping Boutique. I think I have them all. They are so pretty and I used some My Mind's Eye that I seem to have a never ending stash of! Also added a SRM sticker. I used some stickles on the mermaids tail as well as highlighted spots in the water.

Hump Day!
Wednesday already - yeah! This is my week for Friday off so one more day. We have been really busy recently. Guess it's graduation - pretty weather, but the summer season has begun in earnest at the Trauma Center of South Texas! Today I finally got a chance to take a picture of my card for Mojo Monday. Done with papers from of Noel Mignon kit and a prima flower. The image is from The Sweet Stop. The card is for Kim's (my daughter) birthday next week. Her's is Monday and Kristi's and Brandy's (the other two of my girls) are on Wednesday. Yeah May is a rough month. We have 7 birthdays and my niece is doing her best to deliver another one this month.
This is a page I did with my latest Noel Mignon kit (finally breaking into all of them!). Noel does such a fabulous job of putting her kits together - pages just seem to fall into place! This is Brandy and Jason down on the Riverwalk for Mother's Day lunch.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday cards and Core'dinations
Well Brandy just got here to go walk and looks like it's fixing to storm! Great - wet walk. Got some cards and layouts to share today and some little Texas Roses. First is my card for CPS together with Imaginisce stamps and a Penny Black stamp and some Cosmo Cricket Core'dinations cardstock.
This one is for two challenges - the 365 Card Challenge Sketch and the Delightful Inspiration's image challenge. For this I used some Scenic Route papers and the adorable little image from Faith.
The next card is one I did for the Sketch this week over at Delilghtful Sketches.
Core'dinations has been given some Imaginisce to work with and the Design Team has all been having so much fun with the things we got. Here's a card I made using some of their stickers and paper together with Core'dinations Cardstock.
The last card is for the sketch this week over at Taylored Expressions. For this one I used an image from Paperworks Co. and some Scenic Route paper, core'dinations cardstock.
Next I have some layouts for you using two of the Imaginisce paper lines together with Core'dinations cardstock. For the first page - this is my daughter, Brandy, dancing last year in Dallas at the Pulse convention. The core'dinations cardstock is the line they did with Jillibean. I LOVE this numbered cardstock - perfect for so many pages.
The next page is another line of the Imaginisce papers together with some Core'dinations cardstock and some of their new Gemstones line. I actually just randomly sanded some of the gemstones which created some different shading to the background. The flowers were made using a Cuttlebug embossing folder with some basic core'dinations cardstock on different colors. I then sanded them and cut out and layered them.
Lastly since I'm always so impressed with the beautiful flowers that Linda Beason always has on her blog posts I decided to take the opportunity to take some pictures of these Texas Roses (cacti) since they don't bloom very long here. The last picture is the Lantana that covers my flower beds - they are just about the only flowering thing I have found that the deer won't eat. AND they will eat it the first year you put it out - well just nibble - then the next year I guess it doesn't taste the same so they leave it alone.
Thanks for stopping by!
