Happy Halloween! This is a gorgeous day here! Going to go walk here shortly but wanted to share some of my Saturday card sketch cards - they have me totally addicted. Then I also wanted to play with my new stamps from The Angel Company! I won $15 worth and then of course had to order more than that! So now I'm showing off just a few of what I ordered. I will definitely be ordering there again! First of all here's my card for Card Patterns - I used some Paper Trunk I have hoarded on this one and of course my new stamp.
New I also did the sketch from Delightful Sketches - a site I have just recently found who has awesome card sketches. For this one I pulled out one of my favorite manufacturer lines, Dream
Street. And of course another one of the cute stamps I got.
Lastly I wanted to share another card I made with some American Crafts baby papers and some of my stamps from Recollections - the line from Michaels.
Thanks for stopping by. Off to work on some more sketches and wait for CPS to put theirs up tomorrow. I'm also off tomorrow to go teach a little group of Girl Scouts how to crochet - they are going to make a baby blanket for one of their projects this year. Fun!

Thursday - just sharing!
I have been doing the challenges and tutorials over at My Sketch World in their month long challenge for WCMD. This one was probably the most challenging one for me. I just couldn't come up with a card I liked - threw several in the trash. Finally I like this one. It's a challenge to cut the image from your sheet and use it on one card and then use the negative. So I created two card essentially the same one with the negative image and the other with the cut out image.
Also got the chance to use the new stamp I picked up at Michaels the other day - isn't it sweet!
Thanks for visiting.

Sunday Card Creations
Well got busy yesterday and didn't get around to taking pictures until late. Had to be in town at 7:30 (EEK!) am to get an MRI on my foot. If you have never had one on an extremity it's about the weirdest feeling! The waves play off your nerves and at first it feels like someone is just lightly stroking your foot but then as it intensifies it's SO hard not to jerk your foot back! Oh well, it's over and should have results soon. I' m also hoping to make a trip up to see Kim soon and get a new picture - I'm getting sick of looking at this picture of me and Kim is the only one besides me who ever picks up the camera and takes one of me.! First of all I wanted to share this card I made for the Cardvarks challenge to create a tall card. Since I had just gotten some wonderful Webster's Pages papers I went to them right away to create this. This paper is so beautiful it's almost hard to cut it up! Can't say enough good things about Webster's Pages.
For the CPS sketch this week I pulled out some October Afternoon. I LOVE this paper line - just adorable!
Next I want to share my card I did for the Card Patterns sketch challenge this week. For this I decided to get another birthday card done (for my grandson Kadin who is a bug lover - yuck-bugs!). But this 3bugsinarug paper is perfect for him. Actually that's why I bought it - to make cards for him! Needless to say he's going to be 7! All my little ones are growing up! But before you know it so will Brandy and Jason and they will have more and more babies for all of us to spoil eventually (NOT SOON I HOPE!)
Then I also want to share my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. For this one I pulled out some October Afternoon and teamed it with a rub-on from Pink Paisley and some Core'dinations cardstock.
Then I made this card for one of the challenges/tutorials over at My Sketch World and loved how it came out. I had just bought this Christmas line from American Crafts last week but the little dots were perfect for a tree.
Lastly this is a page I did for I Am A Scrapaholic this month with some Jenni Bowlin and Teresa Collins lines. This is my mother, my niece and my little great-niece at her first recital.
Thanks for coming by! I'm totally addicted to these now. I have 4 boxes of cards and about half my 50 Christmas cards done!

Thursday
In my quest to find more sketch sites I discovered Crazy 4 Challenges. Fun stuff! Look at this great sketch and then go over and take a peek at their awesome cards from their Design Team! Wowsers! In participating in alot of the card sketch blog challenges I'm finding so many girls from Germany, Sweden and many of the European countries - they have some awesome stamping skills! Love going through the submissions and seeing everyone's creations and in fact that's where I have found links to many wonderful stamp sites and challenge blogs.
Then this little card was done for one of the tutorials over at My Sketch World for their month long challenges. Just in time to send to my step-daughter for her birthday.
Thanks for looking!

Well hopefully I got my head back on straight. Here's the corrected card for Delightful Sketches
Also here's another card for one of the Celeste tutorial over at My Sketch World in their month long WCMD contest.
We leave shortly to head to the funeral. Lots of driving today but that's the way it goes. Thank you for stopping by!

Sunday - Card and some sad news
This morning we got the call we have been dreading for quite awhile now. My mother-in-law passed away. She was 89 and had been in hospital. Over the last few days her kidneys had shut down and none of her kids wanted to subject her to dialysis. Most of them got to see her over the weekend and I was down the week before so I did get to see her and spend an afternoon with her. She was a wonderful, sweet, woman and was always to sweet to me. She will be sorely missed. We are leaving Tuesday for the funeral.
I have several cards here to share today. First of all is my card for the CPS sketch this week. I just bought several lines of the Webster's Pages at the LSS the other day and when I saw this sketch I just knew something would fit from their holiday papers. Aren't they pretty!
Then through blog world I found a new sketch site Delightful Sketches and found this great sketch. Still in the effort of getting Christmas cards made I've made another card with the Basic Grey papers I have and one of the stamps I got at SUinks. Just came back and looked at this - BOY can you tell there was a little stress today - I need to redo this card - no sentiment! EEEK! Come back later this week please!
The next card I did with some Jenni Bowlin papers and Core'dinations cardstock. Love how the Core always adds just a touch of something extra to your card.
The next few cards I did for more of the challenges and tutorials over at My Sketch World. The first two are done with the Basic Grey papers and the last with some old SEI papers I had. The first cards are just little 3 X 3 cards and are so fun and easy! The next card was done for the vellum tutorial and the last was a sketch challenge.
Thanks for dropping by today.

Sanding with some Core'dinations and Card Patterns today!
Good Saturday morning! Well look at the fun sketch I found this morning over at Card Patterns! Perfect for some of my goodies and DT assignment for IAAS as well. These Jenni Bowlin papers and Tersa Collins papers in the October kit just were perfect for this card. Love the paper flower that Prima has out now. Hush - this card is supposed to be for a blog post this week - but here's a sneak!
It just seemed like a Core'dinations kind of day yesterday and I managed to get both of these done. I haven't done a two-pager for awhile and this just seemed to work out for me. For the first card I drew this sketch out while listening to morning report the other day and already had is all planned out in my head. I love playing with the stamps now and the copic markers. They are so cool!
The two -pager here is a great example of what you can do with Core'dinations - just cardstock! I used the Score-Pal ( I have the large and the smaller one both) and created the background for my page. Then I embossed the pink, sanded it and then trimmed it out with some Fiskar's punched edges and some ribbon. Then I used the coredinating Black Magic to make my circle, using the Score Pal to do the radiating lines across. Then I used a Cuttlebug cutting folder to make my flower. This is my little great-niece, Hailey, at her first dance recital dancing to a tap number from Annie.
Thanks for stopping by !

Sunday Cards - more - more!
WOW best of intentions today to get out and walk but rain has put that out of the picture - so guess what!??? Forced to scrap you're right! Several card sketched on my agenda today and also working on my Design Team work for I am a Scrapaholic. First of all here's my take on the sketch over at CPS. Such a great sketch and perfect for another Christmas card. I'm gradually knocking them off my list - have about 50 to do and I'm making pretty good progress! This card is done with some Basic Grey and a couple of stamps from SUink and Doodlebug.
The next card is my second attempt at the sketch for Card Patterns. I finished one yesterday and just didn't like how it came out so made another try today. This is done with some Crate Paper I have hoarded and now I'm ready to tear into it and use it all up! Couldn't get much cuter - I LOVE Crate Paper - love the texture of their papers.
Then to show the pages I've done with my IAAS October kit. The kit has Teresa Collin sports pages together with some Jenni Bowlin papers and can go for sports or elegance. Lynn always has so many wonderful embellishments in her kit I can't wait to get them and play with them. These pages covered me with Kadin's soccer team for last year. Isn't he a cutie? He definitely plays to win.

Happy Saturday - Love my weekends!
Happy Saturday! Love the weekends
More time to create cards! Today I'm starting with the Cardvarks Ribbon Challenge. Thought of this ribbon immediately as I bought it because I loved it and have hoarded it for something just like this! And for the paper I love this Glitz paper - one of my favorites of theirs! The centers are some of the new Recollections line at Michaels and the stamp from one of Kim Hughes stamp collection at Cornish Hens.
Next here are a couple of cards I made this week for the month long challenges over at My Sketch World. These are boy/girl cards using the sketch below. The boy card I made with some 3bugsinarug papers and the girl card with some Making Memories papers and a little Heidi Swapp butterfly.
Last of all still with the challenges at My Sketch World I did the one using the wordle to create the sentiment. Let me tell you this was a 2 hour process. My computer is one of the first done with the Vista program and it takes an act of congress to download or run a program that wasn't already installed on it. I have spent YEARS fighting it but guess I'm getting smarter - I WON!.
Papers are some old SEI Christmas papers I've had in my Christmas paper stash. This was the sketch we were to follow.
Thanks for stopping by - probably more later today!
