Wanted to show off some of the core'dinations projects I have been recently working on (mostly done before I had surgery just hadn't posted yet). The first four are Halloween cards using the Black Magic core and different Cuttlebug embossing folders. Just got this first folder and LOVE it. I almost can't pick up any scrappy supplies anymore without thinking how I can use the core'dinations papers with it. They definitely add that extra something to anything you do.
Next comes this little card I made using some Memory Makers small scalloped papers. I added a Glitz rub-on as well as some Heidi Grace rub'ons and a big bow. And I've had these funky prime flowers I've just been dying to use on something and this was perfect. And so ok - no core'dinations on this one but really tried to figure out how to put in on there - lol!
This card I made yesterday - done with the new JenniBowlin/core'dinations papers which are just so pretty. Then I added a piece of core'dinations navy which I had embossed with a Fiskars embossing folder (my favorite one) and added this ribbon I got the other day that feels like a big old rope.
For this page I had just got this beautiful picture of my little great-niece, Katy (who has my coloring, blue eyes and the hint of red hair) and it was just so pretty. While I was planning on using the JenniBowlin papers I happened to see the Webster's Pages piece (a favorite manufacturer of mine) laying on a table (yeah yeah yeah - in my messy scraproom - but who knows where inspiration comes from!) and together with this piece of Crate paper together worked for this page. Also used a Fiskars punch there along the right hand side. And my favorite letter stickers from Webster's.
Last of all is a page I did with Jillibean ( another one of my favorite manufacturers) and the core'dinations papers. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder around the edges and then used my Creating Keepsakes circle cutter as a tool to emboss the hat.
Thanks again for stopping by! Hoping everyone has a wonderful week.

Just some cards I've done recently with core'dinations and different products. The first two are with 3 Bugs, the next one with Jillibean and the purple one with core'dinations only, the last with core'dinations and some Dream Street. Loving the core'dinations. Actually don't know how I ever did anything without it. It's just so versatle and seems to add just that extra something to a card or page. Gradually getting around a little better. At least I've been able to keep something down except water for the last day and a half so that's progress. And I'm out of bed which is even more progress.

Well day two from my surgery and I've finally managed to get out of bed for a little while although I still can't keep anything in my stomach. I don't think the pain pills and I agree but can't do without them. I did get up long enough to take a picture for the CPS #130 sketch and post it though. Will hopefully be improving daily. I still can't believe I slept almost ALL of yesterday and still slept last night but I did.

Ok I'm off to the hospital tomorrow for surgery on my back - they found this big cyst on my spine which has been putting pressure on my L5 nerve causing me to have pain down the side of my right leg and hip. It has been misdiagnosed for a long time so I have been going through therapy and treatments and finally they checked out my spine and there it was bigger than Dallas. So I'm off tomorrow to get rid of it and get back on the road. Check with you all and show off more work when I get back.

Ok you can probably already tell I've had more time on my hands this weekend with taking the week off and so have been a scrapping maniac! I had so much fun with the card sketches I found that I've done a second one. Starting playing with some Dream Street papers (trying my best to work through some of my stash before all the new goodies hit the store!!) I cannot believe the amount of "stash" I have here and for the most part I still love it as much now as when I bought it although I have a box half full of papers to give away that I know I'll never use! But meantime here's another tak on t he Card Patterns sketch this week.
And since I still had plenty of Dream Street in this line and I love the colors (which happen to be perfect for Valentine's goodies), I decided I would make another card for the cardpositioningsystems sketch this week as well.
Thanks for dropping by!

Happy WEEKEND Everyone! I decided to do a couple of Card sketch sites today on my time off and here's the results!
Today I went over the Card Patterns and found this great sketch - playing here with some Fancy Pants and made this for my take of the sketch! Taking this week off (needed it) - haven't had any time this entire summer off. So I'm going to scrap for a few days and then I'm off to Kim's for a few days. Jason is going with me so should be fun. Brandy's still up here until this weekend and then everyone had to come home and get back to life as it is normally - school, work and all that!
Then I went to CPS for their sketch and started playing with some 3 Bugs and came up with this card. Loved this sketch and think I'll doing another one like this! Will post later if I do it!
Then since I loved this paper once I got started with it and for some reason suddenly feel the urge to use up an entire line at a time, I made this card as well as this page of my great-nephew, Brayden.
And then just because I loved this Fancy Pants paper and there were still some scraps laying here on my desk I made this little card.
Thanks for looking!

Well I loved this sketch at cardpositioning systems and here's the card I did for it. Thanks for looking! Been at a two day seminar for my CCRN (Critical Care RN) certification. Now I have to study like crazy and take the test which is really hard.

A real scrappy weekend here - just what I needed! I'm actually caught up for the month now! Got two Pebbles pages done (will have to wait to show them off until they are up on the Pebbles blog though), did this little card for IAAS last week and then did the layout and the little card with the elephant on it for core'dinations.
This card I did for IAAS with their awesome kit - well actually this one was just a combo of some of the goodies I've collected from several of the last kit. Lynn always includes so many embellishments it's a challenge to use them up!
I did this card from papers in IAAS kit this month using the Card Patterns #27 pattern for my guide. Love their card patterns - and have loved playing along the last couple of weeks - great inspiration!
I woke up Friday morning with this page in my head. I love this picture of my great-niece, Hailey, going down the slip n slide and somehow this just popped in my head. Now getting the beach ball done was alot more challenging than I thought it would be - especially since I embossed and sanded each piece separately. Needless to say I wasted a few sheets of paper putting it on the wrong side to work - cutting out the wrong cutout but it finally came together and then all I had to do was stitch it down. The slip n slide I did using a crimper - love that tool.
I saw this saying and it seemed to be perfect for a friend's card. The embossing was from a Fiskars embossing plate. I've found these work better on the core'dinations papers if you put them embossing plate to right side of the core'dinations paper - then run them through the cuttlebug and sand. I've been dying to find the perfect card to use this particular embossing plate on - looks like elephant hide right? Thanks for coming by!

CORE'DINATIONS ROCKS!!!
Just go check out the core'dinations blog!!! Look there at the new releases - I CANNOT wait. There are going to be a lot of Federal Express guys who may be getting hugs and kisses from the DT when they deliver those to our door and we hear they are on the way now!!! Just wanted to show you the cards and pages I sent for the CHA core'dinations booth last week. The more I play with core'dinations the more in love I am with it! Thanks for peeking! But be sure to check out the blog to see alot more of the work from the other DT members!

YEAH!!!! Maybe the blogger was just down - repeated it and got them all up - YEAH!!! Got three pages done for IAAS but am waiting to Lynn to decide which one she wants for the homepage - then I'll post them. Also did a few cards to submit playing with my core'dinations again. The more I use Core'dinations the more I'm in love with it! There's just so many things to do with it. I was actually beating myself in the head this morning. I know I dreamed a layout with it in my head and of course I didn't get up and then couldn't remember it this morning.
