Saturday again!

WOW another LONG week - trauma is on the rise this summer and then you add in that it's July (new interns and each resident moves up to a new and more stressful position). On top of that my Father in Law (from my first marriage but my only father in law) died on Wed. He had been beating the clock with his heart for a year or two but fell in the bathroom - on Coumadin- and died of a massive head bleed.I will miss him dearly. Funeral is next Thursday. My middle daughter and her family should be here from Georgia about Wed. Then we all leave again for Fort Worth for my husband's birthday party on Friday.
This week over at Unscripted Sketches this sketch inspired me to tackle a page with it. I like never do a layout with a card sketch but that's where this one led me. Everything is Core'dinations - love this background paper - Cosmo Cricket collection.

Then over at For Your Inspiration Steph has this beautiful photo for inspiration. Here's my interpretation of it.

I have tons to get done this week and hoping to find time to do it all.

  2. Ohh gosh, Debbie! Both the layout and your card are so lovely! I love the embossing textures on your page and I think it's great that you were inspired to to the layout rather than a card. The Fall inspiration piece is just dreamy and your card is perfect.

I am very sorry about your FIL's passing... I know it must be difficult! You have my thoughts and prayers!

  7. Hugs to you, Debbie, during this sad and ultra busy time for your family! In spite of it all, you still manage to create lovely cards and pages! If you're like me, paper crafting is terrific therapy and good for the soul! :-)
