Sunday Sharing

Ok how about some cards! Finished a couple of layouts - put my hat in for the Color Combo Galore DT call - and will keep my fingers crossed. Then did one for Core'dinations that should be out this week. Then several DT cards (not showing yet) and then it was time to play! Oh also tackled clean sheets on all the beds, laundry up and ironed and bathrooms cleaned- PLUS since Charlie is still in the WC I cooked dinner (uGH!)
First off is the sketch for Card Patterns - love this sketch! The little pelican is from Paper Smooches - the papers are Basic Grey

The next is my card for CPS this week - decided to try some white on white again and splash it with pink! LOL I do have a mess (this is why I don't make many white cards or wear much white - I can't keep it clean) but it covered up nicely with my stamp! The cardstock is Core'dinations of course and the stamps are from Paper Smooches.

Next and last for today for Random Acts of Creativity. Decided I would do some more plain Core'dination's cardstock and then added some Prima Flowers and a SRM sticker.

Thanks for stopping by - I'm so glad to have my computer back running. Now if I could just make Monday stay away for another week!

Happy Saturday!

Well I'm BACK!!! My computer virus is dead and I'm back enjoying all the benefits of being connected again! The old dinosaur kept me on line but I didn't have access to anything I have here. SOOO I have lots to share. First of all I have my card for the sketch over at Unscripted Sketches this week. Come over and see all the fabulous cards and layouts that the team has to share this week. I used Basic Grey for this one.

Next I was asked by Core'dinations to do a special project for Jenni Bowlin. DUH!!!! Well yeah of course I will! They sent me all kinds of wonderful goodies to work with so these cards and layouts just came together so easy. This is one of my favorite new lines of papers this year. First layout is my adorable little great-niece, Katy who just happened to be wearing a shirt with cherries on it - PERFECT for this paper! The next is my little great-nephews, Brayden and Cason, taking picture after picture for that perfect shot! The last layout is my grandson, Mitchell, at his baseball game this spring.

So moving on to some more Core'dinations delight I have a page I did on me. Yeah right I NEVER do pages on me mostly because I take horrible pictures and I'm always the cameraman! But I got the girls to take some down on the beach this May and decided I would use one of them. One of my favorite sheets of Core'dinations papers - the Cosmo Cricket line together with a sheet from the new My Mind's Eye line and then some white wash in there as wellThanks so much for stopping by - hope to have more cards and pages for you tomorrow. I've got all kinds of images I'm anxious to use from Designed 2 Delight - I just couldn't get them printed out without this computer and my printer!

Sunday Sharing

Happy Father's Day to all you Father's. Mine died the day I started HS and I still miss him so much. Would have loved to have experienced so many things with him and know he would have made such a wonderful Grandfather to my children and grandchildren. Sad that they never got to know what a wonderful person he was.
Cannot tell you how difficult this has been to post. My computer got a virus and is dead at the moment so I'm on an OLD (2003) that is SO slow! Had to reload the digital program on here and re-take pictures and then get them up here. Fun. First of all here's my card for the current challenge over at For Your Inspiration. Used just my Core'dination's Cardstock on this one - embossed and sanded and layered.

Next is a layout using the Color Inspiration at Color Combo Galore this week. Challenge was to stamp on your photo - challenging yes because stamps are it - no digital on this dinosaur! Cardstock is all some of the new stock from Core'dinations - My Mind's Eye, Teresa Collins. I also used some Prima Flowers and Jenni Bowlin tags.

Next is my card for Card Patterns this week. This is a stamp I got from a Noel Mignon kit quite awhile ago and finally decided to use. I used it with some of the new Glitter Silk papers from Core'dinations and a Smooches stamp.
Next is my card for the sketch at CPS this week. I pulled out some Bo Bunny for this one. The stamp is from Smooches.

Ok had to come back and add one more. This is the sketch over at Random Acts of Creativity that Chupa has for us this week. For this I used some of the Core'dinations Gemstones collection - love the way it sands - just a touch darker! Then added some ribbon and a Prima butterfly and a SRM sticker.Link

Thanks for stopping by - hope to be up and running soon but not holding my breath. May have to cope with this dinosaur for awhile. UGGGH!

Saturday Cards

Wow - long week - new boss - just stressful getting into a new groove. We were horribly busy this week and our mid-level provider for our team is out this week for "G-Ma Camp". Bless her heart - every summer she takes all her grandkids for a week - they go places, do things and thanks to me now they scrap their memories in little books to take home!
This week first off is the card sketch from Unscripted Sketches.
Papers are from TCP Studios and Cardstock is Core'dinations. Glue is from Helmar.

The next card is a card I did for Designed 2 Delight for last week's freebie image. Again some Basic Grey papers and Copic markers. Love this summery image.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sunday Sharing!

Well after a weekend of doing all the cooking, grocery shopping, fetching, cleaning, etc. I'm ready for my hubby to be back on his feet. The wheelchair and crutches seem like a major pain in the butt! He's doing pretty good - no pain anyway but it's really hard for him to navigate without some assistance. He's learning though. BUT in the mean time I'm totally worn out! But being home-bound does have the advantage that I can scrap. Today I have several things to share - the first is the page I did for The Color Combo Galore this week. Went out of my box here - flipped my Core'dinations paper over and stamped and colored and made my own pp. Then I used some White Wash, scored it and then sanded it. The balloons - didn't have a stamp so downloaded some coloring book page balloons and made them digital. Worked!

Next is my card for the Sketch Saturday card sketch this week. I used a Wee Stamps image for this one and some Pebbles papers.
The next card is for Card Patterns. Used a digital image from Faith at Designed 2 Delight and some My Mind's Eye papers.
Then the last card is for CPS this week - used some Jillibean Soup papers and a digital stamp from Sweet and Sassy stamps.
Thanks for stopping by - wish me luck for getting through until Charlie can bear weight on this thing again!

Unscripted Sketches

Well here's Saturday again - my favorite day of the week! Getting ready to go out for a run before it gets hot. Got my husband home yesterday. They had some major work reconstructing his foot. He had a big toe that shot across the others - fixing it required several hours of surgery, cutting and reattaching tendons and skin and pinning his toe in place BUT it's straight. We had crutches and a wheelchair delivered yesterday - he's not supposed to put weight on it for several weeks. BUT hard headed as he is he won't stay still and keep it elevated to my nursing desires and it bled quite abit under the bandages yesterday. NOW as an ICU nurse it's just killing me to keep my hands off and not strip down the huge bandaged foot and redress it. The instructions when he went home clearly state - do NOT do this so. So I'm going to sit on my hands until Monday and I can call the office. Then I'll take it down - otherwise he's really going to stink in a few days.
On to more pleasant things - here's my card for the Unscripted Sketches this week. I used Core'dinations papers, some Kim Hughes stamps and some Flower Soft.

Thanks for stopping by - working on a page for the Color Combo Galore this week. Please stop in at Core'dinations and join us for a month long challenge with a great Core'dinations give-away for the winner. Also would love to have you join us over at For Your Inspiration for the newest photo inspiration challenge. The Design Team rocked this one for sure! And as always Designed 2 Delight has a wonderful new image freebie for the first of the month.

For your Inspiration

Today I have my card for you for the challenge over at For Your Inspiration. This is the new photo to give you inspiration. Have loved seeing everyone's interpretation of the inspirational photo that Steph had two weeks ago. Please play along with us this time. I used some Core'dinations Cardstock - embossed it with a Tim Holtz folder and sanded it. Then this digital image from Designed 2 Delight is just one of my favorites and felt it was perfect to capture the water and the colors from the photo.

Thanks for stopping by - my hubby has surgery tomorrow to fix one of his miserably deformed feet - hoping it all goes well.
