Wednesday and Core'dinations!

Want to share with you one of the new lines of cardstock that Core'dinations has in store for you. Core'dinations together with Stacy Julian has prepared this fabulous bright, fun, new collection of cardstock. You can sand a word, letter or the entire page to create whatever you want. Here's a layout I did with the papers - oh forgot to say - not only do you get the words but you also get another sheet of the same color with the dots. Pop on over to the Core'dinations blog to check out other inspiration from the rest of the Design Team - they have rocked this collection for sure!

Thanks again for stopping by - I'm sure I will have more projects with this collection for you over the weekend.

Saturday Cards

Well first of all I'm hoping this really posts - had to pre-date it and it doesn't always work the way I want. I'm out in California now if everything has worked out as planned. I'm actually writing this Wednesday evening because we leave at 3 am tomorrow. I'm driving my daughter to California where she plans to move and try to make a career in dance. Sniff, sniff, this is REALLY REALLY hard! She's been my bestest of friends for 21 years now and I'm going to miss her horribly and be so jealous that I can't be there to watch her dance. In 18 years of dance I've never missed but one performance.
But today here's some cards! First for the sketch over at Unscripted Sketches. For this I used some of the Core'dination Amour line - isn't it yummy!

The next is for The Sweet Stop. More Core'dinations here and one of my new Lily of the Valley stamps - love this stamp!

Sunday - 2nd post!!!

Yeah supposed to be studying but can't seem to stay away from my scrapbook goodies (guess I could move out of here to start with!) But had to do these two card sketches - they were just calling me. First is the sketch over at CPS today. For these I used a C.C.Design stamp I forgot I had until I was digging through there earlier this weekend. The papers are all from last year's Noel Mignon kit. Oh and the other stamp is from a new packet I got at Micheal's of Recollections stamps. I'm still working on the 5,000 Christmas cards I have to do for office and friends so bear with me. I do have other paper and I know I won't be able to stand much more of the Christmas papers so I'm riding it while I can find inspiration.

The next card is from the Card Patterns sketch. For this I pulled some more of my new Graphic 45 paper and Cardstock by Core'dinations. YUM!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Sunday Sharing

Surprise today I have layouts instead of cards (although may have cards later too). First off is a page I did of my granddaughter, Madison for the Color Combo Galore color inspiration this week. Yum - purple! Would never have thought to combine it will blue though but like the turn-out. Lots of core'dinations in this one as well.

Then have you see this over at the Core'dinations blog? Well I just got mine in the mail last week and could hardly wait for the weekend to start playing. I had bought this Graphic 45 Christmas paper just in anticipation. So I'm showing off my first page done with this cool cardstock. This is the houndstooth pattern - it comes in several yummy colors too.

Saturday Sharing

WOW this was a LONG week. I'm still cramming away for the exams. BUT happy day today - I got my pass to schedule my CCRN and intend to take it in the next two weeks so that I can concentrate on the CNRN the entire month of October. It's scheduled for October 29th so no working around that date only this one. I've been studying like crazy! OH, and trying to gear up to take Brandy to California next week - sniff sniff. Not ready for my baby girl to fly away but all I can do is support her decision. BUT for today I have cards to share. The first card here is for the sketch over at Unscripted Sketches. This week there's a twist added - monochromatic color so I picked pink! The stamp is a new one I got from Lilly of the Valley - Cardstock is from Core'dinations of course and paper is from a Noel Mignon kit.

Next card is for the card sketch over at The Sweet Stop. For this I pulled out some Unity stamps, added some Flower Soft to the stem and papers all from Crate Paper.
Then over at Designed 2 Delight Faith has this adorable image. I used some Core'dinations cardstock together with my last year's Noel Mignon kit goodies to create this.
Thanks for stopping by - have another one I'll try to get up in the morning. It's pouring here and I can't get a good picture.

Tuesday

Just a couple of quick posts. Brandy came up and talked me (didn't take much!) into taking her to lunch today so nice change of pace. Not many days left - she leaves in 10 days!
Here's my card for the Taylored Expressions sketch this week. Used some of the Core'dinations Gemstones on this and a sweet Stampabilities stamp.

Then over at Designed 2 Delight this week Faith has this adorable little bear. Used some My Mind's Eye for this.

Thanks for looking!

Sunday

Not alot to share today - have been working on DT work so that I will be caught up when I have to leave town to help Brandy get settled in California (EEK!) Can't believe she's really going but she wants to see if she can make it in the dance world and if determination has anything to do with it she ought to be a major force to be met with! So here's what I have to share for today. First a card for the Card Patterns sketch this week - also in working on getting my Christmas cards done. Everything from a Noel Mignon kit.

Next a page I did for the Color Combo Galore inspiration this week. The cardstock is Core-dinations - love this line - papers from a Noel Mignon kit. Thanks for stopping by!

YEAH! it's Saturday again!

Well after having lived under the threat of flooding all week - it's back to sunny and hot! Had one night I worked extra charging in the ICU until 7 pm and got a call from home saying - We have a problem! The road is under water! We live in a subdivision near the river that some idiot built that only has one road in to about 3-4 subdivisions and it's built along the bottom of a dry creek bed so if you get too much water at one time - we flood until it stops and it has time to go down. So I met Brandy and bought her dinner and didn't get to get home until I finally braved it and drove over the water (down to less than a foot and I watched several go across first) and got home about 9:30 only to get up again at 4 am and go back!
But here's my DT cards this week! The first is from Unscripted Sketches. I used some Dream Street papers and a new Lilly of the Valley stamp for this one. Isn't he cute?

Then my next card is for The Sweet Stop. This week I used some Webster's Pages papers and one of The Sweet and Sassy digital images.

Then I finally finished my page for the Color Combo Galore's challenge this week. This is my granddaughter, MaKenna, out at the lake last Sunday. Kim (her mom) has her well trained for smiling on cue! Cardstock is Core'dinations and all items come from a Noel Mignon kit.

Thanks for stopping by - will have more over the weekend!

CPS

Well rainy days and Tuesday's this week - man did we get rain! It's still raining out there. Actually came home a little early because the idiot that planned this subdivision (well actually about 5 of them) built it and the road follows a normally dry creek bed. UNTIL we get flooding and then the road floods - one way in and one way out. In the 11 years we have been out here it's flooded us in or out about 3-4 times. I'm hoping it goes down before the morning. So of course being home I scrapped! Here's my card for the CPS sketch - had this in my head when I saw the sketch and actually sketched it out at Kim's so I wouldn't forget. Core'dinations cardstock, Tim Holtz embossing folder, a Fancy Pants chipboard and Tim Holtz leaves and used some metallic rub-ons on them and then added some little birdhouses from American Crafts papers.

Labor Day!

Hope everyone had a great, fun but safe weekend. We did!
Posting late this weekend but have been at Kim's (oldest daughter) with Jason (son) to see Kim and the grandkids. Had a fabulous time - went to the lake yesterday and have so many pictures to share! LOVED it! Here's some cards to share for Design Team work this week.
First off I have my card for The Sweet Stop. For this I used a cute Santa image together with papers from a Noel Mignon kit.
The second card I have is for Unscripted Sketches this week. For this I pulled out the Core'dinations and some embellishments from the Noel Mignon kit.
Next I have my card for the Card Patterns Sketch this week. I know it's a stretch for the sketch for it inspired me to make this Core'dinations card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a Tim Holtz embossing folder that have become one of my favorites! Add a little Jillibean tag and a rub-on and it's done.
Now for a few pictures from yesterday at Cisco Lake. We had several hams (won't show all but here are some favorites. First is my son, Jason, isn't he cute - then doing the dare devil act. This is one of about 20 I got of crazy leaps from the dock.
Then one of all the grandkids together.

Then starting with the youngest - here's Matthew! He's 8 and going to be a true ham !
Then his twin MaKenna - sweetie girl!
Then Mitchell - the shy one who refused to pose! Caught him anyway - he's Kim's little mirror image!
My Madison - 13 now and quickly becoming a knockout teenager.
And then my oldest, Morgan, ever confident enough to be the biggest ham of the group!
Thanks for stopping in - sorry so late this weekend!
