Saturday cards with a twist!

This week I have a couple of cards for Design Team work that have used a sketch with a twist! The first card is for the sketch at Unscripted Sketches. The twist is to use something besides a die cut for the flowers on your card. For mine I used ribbon and stitched and pulled it up into a flower. Then I sprintzed it with Shimmerz. The cardstock behind it is some of the Core'dinations papers combined with Jenni Bowlin which I sanded a little.

Then for the next card this week - this is the sketch over at The Sweet Stop. The twist for this week is school theme. For my card I used some stamps from SUink and the papers from Best Creations.

Then a couple of layouts to share as well. The first one is for the challenge over at Color Combo Galore using this color combo together with a sketch and a time challenge to complete your page in 30 minutes. For this I used a Noel Mignon kit (mixed kits actually) and some Core'dinations Vintage cardstock. This is my youngest daughter, Brandy (L), with my granddaughter, Madison and Brandy's friend, Liz. They had spent a day with Brandy's sister's Becky and Kim (Madi's mom) and had a fabulous time. Madi of course, loves the Aunt attention.
Then this last page I did with another Noel Mignon kit together. This is little Brayden (our heart baby for whom I have asked for so many prayers), together with his new baby brother, Cason, who so far has no health problems. I have a couple of layouts I will try to post along with this in the morning. Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Wow! Great projects, Debbie! You have created so many beautiful things this week. Love the ribbon flowers and the hand stitched stems on your first card, and adore the layering and school stamp and goodies on your second. The script font is just perfect for the back to school sentiment. And your pages are just precious. You did a fabulous job with that color combo challenge. Love the small pops of red and blue you added. And the brotherly love page is just as precious as it can be!
