Saturday and CSI and Unscripted Sketches

What a fabulous week we had.  My hubby and I went to Galveston on Tuesday for a few days for our anniversary.  Had a great time.  Had lunch with Brandy on the way down and then she came down and spent Thursday with us.  Lots of sun and beach time and lots of good food.  LOVE when I can go someplace, eat bad and still come home without gaining any weight.  COURSE I also ran on the seawalk two mornings so guess it came out even.Came home to find that my email had been hacked and have been dealing with all that this afternoon.  Had emails in there (happy mail) that I needed to see to get addresses for but thanks to my scrappy friend, Leslie Ashe, she helped me with the address.  I still need to work on it - had to create a new address outside of hotmail but guess it will eventually work out.
Here's my card for Unscripted Sketches this week.
Next up I have my layout for the challenge over at CSI this week.  This is my daughter, Brandy.  I was lucky enough at our last family get - together to get a bunch of candid shots of her - she usually shies away from my camera.  These pastels aren't usually my thing but I really like how it came out.

Then here are several pages that I did for Core'dinations that were featured on this blog this week.  First up I used Core Amour Onyx collection - one of my all time favorite collections.

Next I used some White Wash on this page - sanded over the entire sheet lightly to bring out the blue undertone and then under the title placed a chipboard cloud that I sanded over moved and sanded over again and again.  Love how this comes out.  The flowers I made out of the bright collection, curled them, then sprayed them with some Maya mist and after they dried put them together.

Then this is done with the Core dotted collection.  I again used the White Wash to make my clouds - I love how you can sand it and it really looks like clouds with the blue coming through.

And got these fabulous shots of my granddaughter, Madison, taken by a photographer - she's getting to be such a beautiful young girl!

Thanks for stopping by!
