I'm down in Houston today - we had to have Brandy's car fixed and now are returning it to her as well as spending an evening with her. Went down on Friday and are headed home today - back to work tomorrow but only for one day - then two more days off - YEAH!. Have been painting my study/scraproom and can't even begin to tell you what a chore it's been! Not only is there wall to wall furniture and scrap supplies but it has one of those gable ceilings which of course needs painting as well. Gearing up to put the house on the market so painting everything. I'm SOOOO sore. Had to move a section - paint - finish the baseboards out - then move it all back - move on to another section. AND I KNOW, yes for a fact, that paint has little feet - they crawl under the plastic that I have laid out to catch those little drops and crawl UNDER it so that I spend another hour scraping and cleaning up those little monsters that got under there!
First up is my card for Unscripted Sketches this week - used some Basic Grey for this together with an SRM sentiment sticker.
Next is this week's Case File from CSI - love these bold colors and while I was cleaning out and backing up I found some of Brandy's old dance pictures and so I decided to use them again - they so fit this Case File.
Then last weekend we made a fast trip to Fort Worth and Arlington to attend a family reunion of Charlie's mom's family. These were some sweet pictures Charlie's Aunt - the only one still alive from his Mom's family - Evelyn. Charlie with all this tact told her definitely needed a hair cut - he didn't like her hair long. But she's still just a hoot and love spending time with her.
Thanks for stopping by!
