Sunday Posting

Wow the weekend went way too fast! But got alot done. We had some boys (family) down here from Arlington wanting to "float" the river. LOL we tried to tell them there wasn't much water at all in the river but they were determined! Boys! Got here about midnight Friday night and didn't want to wake us (although we were waiting for them!) and so slept in their car until Charlie went out to get the paper - then climbed into bed and slept until about 1:30 when we woke them up to lead them over to Gruene (since there's still SOME water there). Brandy, Charlie and I ate lunch and then found that the boys had decided it was too expensive over there and had come back here to try by the house. So they got "wet" - no float really to it but they had fun. Came home about 7-8 went to sleep yet AGAIN and got up this morning around 9 and headed home - had a ball! Let's see out of about 36 hours here they slept about 24.
Headed into my last week as a Trauma Case Manager - will then have three glorious weeks off and then start back in STICU.
Here's my scrap work for the weekend although I did get several more cards done for the D2D blog - trying to get ahead which seems impossibly lately. First off is the sketch from Sketch Saturday this week - inspired me to use this D2D image and pulled out an old Noel Mignon kit to try to use up all the papers which I seem to only make a small dent in.

Next is my card for Card Patterns this week - I'm not impressed at how it turned out. The Cardstock is Core'dinations - tag from a Noel Mignon kit and stamps from Smooches.

The next sketch is the one over at CPS this week. I used some My Mind's Eye papers for this one together with this cute litte snowman from Unity Stamps. The sentiment is a Smooches stamp.

Next up is the sketch from Taylored Expressions this week. Used a Unity Stamp on this Echo Park papers for this one.

Last I have a page I made for the color challenge over at Color Combo Galore this week. Here I went almost all the way with the Core'dinations Cardstock - My Mind's Eye collection plus a little My Mind's Eye papers. The cuties are my little great-nieces, Katy and Hailey.
Thanks for stopping by! Your sweet words make my day!
