Creative Embellishments

I'm up today on the Creative Embellishment's Blog and I have a layout for you I did with one of Em's sketches and pictures of my son and daughter who attended a friend of Brandy's from nursing school's wedding.  They had a ball - Brandy caught the bouquet!  Brandy is well know for her dancing (since she's danced since she was three) and her younger brother is right behind her!  I used several pieces of the Creative Embellishment's chipboard here: the Square Chain Border, the Love Notes Wood Veneer, and the Moment's Word Set and the Flourish Set 10. I love the Flourish Set 10 set because it's easy to cut this into smaller pieces when you don't need a large set. I painted the Green with Heidi Swapp's Citron Color Shine.  The hearts were painted pink and then I added Doodle Bug glitter.  The Embrace I painted gold then sprinkled some Martha Stewart gold glitter on it although the picture makes it look like different colored glitter - it's all gold IRL.

Here's some close ups - like I said before the Embrace is only gold glitter but it looks different photographed.
The Heidi Swapp Color Shine give these just the right contrast.
And here's close ups of all the chipboard and veneer I used:

Case File #168 for CSI and some Gossamer Blue

Wow lazy blogger lately.  Working soooo hard on my yard I'm not good for a whole lot! Lucky for us the developer left a MASSIVE pile of mulch behind our yard as well as a huge pile of gravel!  We have been putting it to good use.  I have hauled probably 40-50 BIG wheelbarrow loads so far. This is where we are at now.  I'm trying to zeroscape most of the backyard -to the right of this will be the pool and another large covered patio.  I've planted some of the larger base plants but will add smaller flower patches throughout it as I go.  Also t here where will be more brick to create tiers through here.  Definitely a work in progress but it's doing wonders for my arms and back lol!
First up I have my take on the CSI Case File @168.

Then I have several pages from my latest kit with Glossamer Blue. Several of Gavin and then one of Brandy and friends.

Creative Embellishments

I'm up again at Creative Embellishments and I have another layout for you today.  I got these awesome pictures of my granddaughter, Madison, and I have had a wonderful time scrapping them. Creative Embellishment has so many options with chipboard designs that it's easy to construct a page with them.
And some close ups.  For the flourished I sprayed them with Martha Stewart Citrus Color Shine.  With the Chain frames I painted them with Ranger Distress Paint in picket fence and then dabbed some pink ink on them.
For the title I painted it with the TH Ranger then sprinkled some Martha Stewart glitter on it before it dried.

Here's the products I used:
First the Bicycle Chain Frames:
Then the title from the Happy Word Set
The large Flourish from the Flourish 15 set
And the last flourish I cut up and used was from the Flourish 27 set

Creative Embellishments

I'm up today on the Creative Embellishments blog and have for you another layout I did using their amazing chipboard!  I've had so much fun on this team - lots of inspiration from the Design Team together with awesome products makes scrapping so much fun! I adore this picture of Gavin walking in the park with his Daddy. I started with a sheet of Core'dination's cardstock - sanded it to show the woodgrain and then added some paint and stains.
First I painted these with Gesso.  Then painted in green and then I lined them with markers to show stems. Here's some close ups of the chipboard.

And here are the products I used.

Used Flourish set 15

and  Arched Window set of 3

Creative Embellishments - June Challenge

This is my second month with Creative Embellishments and I have had SOOOO much fun playing with their chipboard!  So many wonderful shapes and words to work with!  This month's inspiration photo is this one.
This month's mood board had me heading for these Authentique Graduation papers I had had in my stash for a long time.  I had just received these graduation pictures of my granddaughter, Madison, done by T Hernandez, and loved the clock in the photo as well as the colors of the photo.  It inspired this page. I've included some close ups as well. I used pieces of the Hexagon panel as well as the Steampunk Clock.  Then I used a word from the Happy Word Set in my title.

Here's my page.

And here are a few close ups of the chipboard.  The hexagons I painted different colors and the love title I painted with gold paint then repainted with gold smooches.

I used the Steampunk Clock
I also used this Hexagon Panel which I cut into pieces and painted different colors.

and also the Happy Word Set
