Core'dination's 2nd Hard Core Crop!!!!

Welcome to the 2nd Hard Core Crop! We are bringing in the Holiday season with challenges designed
to get you inspired to create for the Holidays. Please head over to the Coreblog for crop rules. And we have the Facebook crop page for you to chat and hang out with fellow Hard Core Croppers so make sure
you head over there, too. You never know when challenges or giveaways will pop
up over there!
Today I have created for you three cards using the David Tutera line as well as some fabulous May Arts Ribbon.  I used the ribbon on one of the cards as well as a layout. I used some of the Step 3 products that David Tutera line has creates to make these holiday cards.  You can see the pictures showing how to put them together.  I also created a layout using some of Tim Holtz fabulous Seasonal Impressions Pack and some of the awesome May Arts ribbon.  I'm going to select a random winner. I will be giving away these fabulous prizes:

  From May Arts: http://www.mayarts.com/blog/

ALSO!!!               TWO packs of our Cut & Emboss series.

First off my cards:  This first card uses the Size A card - I then cut down a Step 2 B/C to fit the card and added the Step 3 embellishments that I chose.  On this card I added some of my favorite May Arts ribbon - love the big pretty bows this ribbon creates.

Next I have another card this time using the Size B/C Step 1 card base and envelope. I layered a Step 2 B/C layer and then added my choice of Step 3 embellishments.  I ran them through my Xyron to add adhesive.

For my last card I used some of the gold Step 1 B/C card base and envelopes.  I added another Gold Step 2 layer.

Next I have a layout for you using the Tim Holtz Seasonal Impressions which I ADORE!!! There are several different colored/layered sheets for each holiday and they just make the page fall together.  I threaded my May Arts ribbon through my page and tied it in a bow.  I also used some more of it on my little tag.

So create a card or layout using Core'dination's and ribbon and link it up here for you chance to win the prizes I have shown!
Challenges must use the Linkinz below. If you do not have a blog, please feel free to use Photobucket or Flickr or any other photo sharing sight that provides links. Happy Saturday!! Hope your day is good.  Been bleak around here - finally went to the OBGYN ER on Thursday to find out I had a raging bladder infection that had worked itself up to my kidneys.  Talked them out of keeping me which probably wasn't the best idea but after several hours sitting I was so miserable I just wanted to go home to my own bed which has pretty well owned me since.  I don't every remember sleeping this much EVER.  I can be up for about an hour before I'm forced back to bed.  I'm sure the antibiotics will work soon.  I have never in almost 18 years at the hospital called in sick and it almost killed me to have to do it.
On to more pleasant things the decorator came by the other evening and went through the house to tell us things we needed to do to make the house the best it can be to be marketed.  Really wasn't too bad - move this, Martha Stewartize this, clean this out - etc.  BUT about five hand written pages full of it.  Charlie's made alot of headway but I'm frustrated because I can't get anything done - but Brandy will be here Wednesday and hopefully I'll be on the mend by then!
Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches - this is the week we put a twist on it and add something embossed.  Being a Core'dination's gal this is right up my little alley.  Here's my card.

Next is my page for this week's Case File  at CSI  - I had fun with this.  I actually found the stencil on a rack at Hobby Lobby.  This is my little great - niece, Katy, and my great-nephew, Brayden, who are very close in age and great friends. Journaling reads about 18 wonderful things about cousins.

Saturday, Unscripted Sketches and CSI

Happy Saturday - winding down my week - getting ready to go back to work tomorrow.  Late posting today but finally realized it's time.  Here's my card for Unscripted Sketches this week.  Used a Smooches stamp and some Authenticate papers.

Next up is my layout for this week's Case File over at CSI.  Loved the color palette and the case file encouraged me to take some pictures of my home which I'm sure I will appreciate soon as we are putting our Dream House on the market.  We built this 13 years ago but had two kids still at home and the house was always full of kids.  Now both of them are grown and have moved and we rattle around here.  So we are putting it on the market and headed up farther north in Texas to be closer to some of the older kids and the grandkids.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm working like crazy to not only get the house ready but to try to get ahead on some of my scrappy commitments - just seems like I'm spinning my wheels lately!

CSI Case File #44

This week over at CSI we had Case File #44 - love these colors!  I used some Core'dination's cardstock on this for my background paper which worked perfectly with the case file with one of the evidence prompts to use doilys.
Well we are fixing to list the house - found a realtor who is close to our expectations.  Spent the week just working on things around here - went over today and cleaned my son's apartment (UGH- they live like pigs!!!! - BOYS!)  But they were very grateful.  Then I have spent alot of time here in my scraproom trying to get caught up on all my projects that I have due for upcoming DTs.  Almost there but not quite - have two more days to devote totally to Core'dination's and Core'dination's Card Team.

And check this out - this is just one of the things I'm getting ready for - want some inspiration - we are going to give it to you.  Please check out the Core'dination's blog as well as Facebook to be dazzled!

Helmar and Core'dinations!

We are here with Helmar this week and couldn’t be more excited!  We have partnered with them previously and it has been great so we hope you enjoy yourself this week and stick around ;) Sit back with your cup of coffee and be ready to be inspired.
Also, make sure you say “hi” from us over on the Helmar Facebook page AND they have some awesome boards over on Pinterest, too!  And…you know how it goes here… post all week long for a chance to WIN some FAB Core’dinations goodies all for yourself. Comment every day for more chances to win!!! And, of course…check in over at the Helmar Blog for more inspiration.
For this first layout, I have adds pops of colors against the black Graphic 45 Core Impressions. And you need great adhesive to adhere that May Arts ribbon down, don’t you?  Well grab that Helmar Quickfix adhesive tape runner ..it’s the perfect size for ribbon! And the 450 Helmar Quick Dry adhesive works really well for those little bits like the green flowers I cut using her Spellbinders dies. You can dab some of the Quick dry on and you are good to go..and fast! No drying time needed ;)

Happy Saturday - last day before I have to head back to work but I get an extra hour tonight!  Finished painting my study/scraproom yesterday - YEAH.  Was a major pain as I had to move and paint and trim it section by section because I just have too much stuff in here to just clean it out and then do it.  AND it has gable ceilings which had to be painted as well. Really felt bad yesterday when I finally had to move the section and desk where my computer sits and had to spend an hour cleaning the blinds before I could even start.  BUT it's done and looks so nice and clean!

Today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches.  I have used Core'dination's cardstock on this together with Helmar glue products and Smooches stamps. Please stop over and see what the rest of the Design Team has in store for your inspiration.

I'll get a picture of my page for CSI later today and post it as well.  This was my first week of being an investigator and don't know where my mind was but missed getting it in on time - UGH.  COURSE I could hardly find my desk in here amid all the painting stuff but no excuse.  SO I'm intending to spend some time here today scrapping and getting ahead on assignments.  The Case Files are so much fun to solve.
